Yeah, really no point in scratching Cizikas so Boulton can have a staged fight and play 3 minutes tonight. Fourth line's actually able to take a somewhat regular shift with Martin-Reasoner-Cizikas. |

He must think it could get rough and he won't have Carkner...
Still, Cizikas did nothing last game to warrant a healthy scratch, they'll miss his energy tonight. |

reinhart, mayfield, anders lee, brock nelson, and Pedan probably would get a look for next year. I feel that it is wise to trade streit, bailey and okposo if there is no hope for this year - ISLES1119
i very much agree...but personally, id give bailey a little more time...as far as im concerned, i know what we have in KO and streit... |

Maybe Wang want sto make sure the losing streak continues. Dont want to have a good team and be forced to spend money. Either way stupid move but I would not expect less from Black Eye Jack |

Carkner out (lower body) and Finley in...
Cizikis out (healthy scratch) and Boulton in...Nabby in goal... - Bags502
What? That decision makes NO sense. One of our best energy players for a guy who's going to log Trevor Gillies type minutes.... |

shows what I know. I was even campaigning to potentially give Cizikas a shift or two on the top line. I didn't realize he'd be centering Wang and Snow!
**Edit...I don't think Cizikas is confirmed a scratch yet. Staple merely said 'likely a healthy scratch'. Not sure why he would consider it 'likely' |

Casey and Martin deserve some more ice time.
With Nino and Strome coming soon... I think we are almost @ a point where we need to make a move to solidify the top 2 lines.
We need to give JT a true top line talent guy.
It may be time to put some type of trade together.
Too many 3rd and 4th liners in the mix.
Once Bailey is back for 10 games or so... it will be time to evalute guys like him and KO and their spot on the team.
I love what Martin, Casey, and Ullstrom bring to this team. I like them as our 3rd line going forward. - jimmc7722
Exactly what I've been saying. Good Job JimmC.
Be Careful though. Trade has become a bad word on here. Someone will start comparing you Mad Mike. |

But do you throw Bailey on the 1st line and drop Okposo to the 3rd? Id actual wouldnt mind rewarding Ullstrom and give him a game or 2 on JT's wing.
Moulson-JT-Bailey

Ullstrom-Aucoin-Okposo

Id put Bailey up on either JT's line or Frans' line and send KO to the press box. |

I'll assume since the Rangers traded Rupp. Brandon Mashinter will replace him in the lineup giving the Rags three guys willing to drop the mitts. Asham, Bickle and Mashinter. Isles counter with Martin Boulton and Finley.
I'm expecting a physical game tonight. Rangers may have made the same mistake that Chicago made the year after they won the Cup.
Getting rid of to many foot soldiers. Compromising their chemistry on and off the ice.
IMO This years Rangers are an Anomaly. They could win the Cup or they could miss the PO's entirely!
Tonight's game is a tough one to call. Isles seem to have lost their scoring touch and the Rangers dont know each other.
Should come down to the Better Goalie performance tonight. |

They want toughness in the lineup with Carkner out. Can't say I agree with taking Cizikas out to add that toughness, but that's likely the rationale. I'd rather see KO sit than Cizikas, to be honest. |

Ill tell you what i like about Boyes.
3G 4A 2GWGs an salary of 1MM
Isles Record 4-4-1
PAP has 7G 2A with salary of 4MM a year.
Launche record 4-6
we didn't lose last two game b/c of KO or b/c we didnt have PAP.
I hope isles bring it tonight. ill be there. LETS GO ISLANDERS
Please not FINLEY. he gets burned for at least a goal game. If he on the nice with Rangers top line we going to smoked.
Carkner, Martin and Boulton is plenty toughness. |
