We make another backup goalie look very good and we took a team that had back to back games 1 against Boston no less, to overtime. Win or not that's a sorry a$$ hockey team we have.

Found this on youtube from last night's game...

Pretty cool thing to see... I find it interesting to listen to who is giving little one liner prep talks walking out...

Ott does the best thing of them all actually but I won't spoil it...

Not pretty by any means...

But when a #14 team in the East beats the #6... or the #25 team beats the #8 team...

It is nothing to hang your head on.

I don't agree, that is typical Buffalo hockey and it should not be acceptable. Aside from 29,26 and maybe 19 this team is a train wreck.

He's not the biggest dog in the fight, but beware, because he's got the biggest amount of fight.

kudos for his role in last night's very lucky win, but Ott is probably the biggest wussy in the league and that is a widely held belief among fans. not a bad player though.

Thomas is so lazy that he makes sure he is at the top of league in scoring so he doesnt have to look any further down the stat list.

i wouldn't say Budaj looked good. he pretty awful on the opening goal and his lack of awareness on the equalizer was just not NHL-quality goaltending, even by backup standards. he was also awful in the SO.

I didn't watch the game and don't feel like back reading but how did Grigorenko play, saw he only played about 10 mins or so?

Vanek is so lazy that he tries to score as quick as possible every shift so that his shift ends.

That is a cool few minutes of video. At one point Grigs looks at Gerbe and his face says something like, "That dude is small". Nice gesture by Ott. Good stuff.

I can't remember a more embarrassing loss.

Thanks, Rassmussen.

He surely got the better of White last night, what a dumb ass move by that kid.

Looked like the players got tired of hearing how bad they were or Ruff had a meeting where he told the players decide if your a physical team or not and show it.Either way it was nice to see a team that looked like it wanted a win for a change.Millers still a growing concern to me especially on the break away goal where he was one on one with the forward and one before that where he didnt apear to be screened.Miller should be in prime form by this time.

I'd add Weber. Has has been anything but a problem in my opinion.
It's not saying much at this point but Weber has been this teams best defenseman since he was put in the lineup.
Beyond me why Pardy was benched for Brennan last night? Brennan being show cased is my only conclussion when it came to that decision.

Here is some negativity. The crowd was terrible. Until 1.9 were left in regulation The fans should be embarrassed. Were they all listening to Blessid Union of Souls for 58 Minutes? Drink Beer and scream, yell and chant for heaven's sake.

A few interesting tidbits I found....

Steve Ott is 6th in the entire NHL in hits with 35

Foligno is 30th with 27 hits...

In Weber's 6 games he has the third most hits on the team with 25

Grigo and Sulzer have a combined 3 hits in 21 games this season.

Stafford is tied for the 7th most turnovers in the NHL with 11

The highest rated Sabre in the league in terms of Blocked Shots is Leopold and Sekera with 18 and that is 50th best in the NHL.

wussies dont square off with brandon prust voluntarily...

ppl who blast agitators for not fighting enough dont get it.

the whole point of the agitator role is to agitate- throw players off their game, then walk away as the other guy marches off to the box...

for all the flak kaleta gets he has changed games with penalties he has drawn. ott did it last night. job well done.
