Hodgson is a disaster defensively.

As long as the PHV LIne is scoring with him as Center, I don't care how many points Hodgson gets. Ennis is ramping up his game, he looks better out there.

Crazy Talk. He was great last night, "Big Time" is a bit much. He is young and will keep getting better. Ennis has been better as of late as well, if anyone needs to go its Stafford.

True. But the Sabres have to ensure quality D-man play when he is on the ice. He helps make that line tick. Figure a way to cover his weakness.

ennis is public enemy number 1 now. people on this site dubbed him the new roy for no reason. even though hes been the best forward besides vanek/pominville. hodgson is already falling off big time and ennis is playing far better

We finally get a #2 Center that produces and now its time to trade him for a winger (cue Winger hit). Why? So Hocky Buzzards can complain that the Sabres lack Center Depth?

I won't dispute we need better play from 2nd and 3rd line wings but not at the expense of Ennis...his hair is amazing!

we were really sad when briere was traded and now we wanted to trade his second coming.

ennis is a tradable asset for sure but you only do that if you get a bobby ryan or something similar. i don't see why people would want to trade vanek, pominville, or miller at all. how the hell are we supposed to get any better if we trade all of our good players? edmonton is still in the gutter and they kept hemsky and a few of the other old timers! trading your best players is for the buffalo bills or columbus blue jackets!

Yeah i suppose. I personnaly dont believe he is the reason that line is doing so great. Its all vanek. Luke adam looked good with them too when Vanek was on a tear last year. The only reason he isnt a -10 right now is because hes on the ice for vaneks goals

ennis controls the puck down low. probably better than anyone but vanek. hodgson has 2 3 point games and just as many scoreless games than ennis so whats your point?

hes played very well since the first 3 games, but he made some stupid comment about faceoffs and had a lazy play that led to a goal and hes getting roasted.

Ennis is the description of what is wrong with most of this team.. He has skill in some locations (puck control and skating), has absolutly no skill in some locatoins (faceoffs), doesn't care at times (i watched him just stand there and let the other team take the puck last night), and does it all while being highly inconsistent
