Muers had another solid game... Despite what +/- says neither od those goals were his fault.. he was down trying to block the shots on both...
VHP is just playing amazing in the offensive zone... They still need to give a sh1t in the defensive zone though.. they have given up 5 goals in the past 2 games

You would be able to get a quality return on Myers just based on 'Potential' Snag a good D pair somewhere that is rebuilding.

But if we can trade Myers + for someone like Seabrook, Weber, etc...
A true #1 would be great
Either way,
We def need to revamp our defense
Unless Myers quickly becomes the real deal,
And McNabb and Pysyk are ready,
And Sekera and Weber can step up and be a good second pair...

What a gritty game by vanek! He took an absolute beating during the 2nd period last night and I didn't think he would bounce back the way he did in the 3rd. I think even last season Vanek might have let those non-calls take him out of the game, but last night he just came back for more and kept driving to the net. I really hope his amazing play this year doesn't get wasted with another non-playoff season. |

Leggio is a good AHL goalie . He is not an NHL goalie . He gives up big fat rebounds , that will be in the net in the NHL . Have you watched him play ? Good stats in the AHL do not a good NHL goalie make . He reminds me of another local product that had great stats with the Americans . Tom Askey
