Nope

He's built like a power forward. I hate when he has a chance to challenge a defenseman or drive to the goal and he avoids contact instead. Or on the back check he could easily knock someone off the puck but he waves his stick at them one-handed instead.

Put Gerbe's effort and drive in Stafford's body and you have a pretty good hockey player.

I haven't seen every minute of every game, but when I see Stafford back checking he usually is rather thorough on finishing checks this year. Which is a point I used to rag on him for previously, he seems to have at least improved in these areas, but I mostly watched all of the first 5 games then bits and pieces of the rest...

I really do Get all the hate directed towards Stafford,
But since when does a A guy who scores 20 or more goals EVERY year have no trade value?
He might not get us Corey Perry,
But to say the guy is worthless is quite the exaggeration

Last year he had only 20, which is low for him, and he finished tied for 90th in goals scored...
Divided by 30,
That makes him a good second liner on most teams

Not saying I wouldn't want to upgrade,
But I think we all get a little carried away with bashing our players
