I dislike that a game is worth 50% more in the standings if it goes past regulation. The loser point is silly and literally has no reason to exist, except to reward mediocrity. - BulliesPhan87
The NHL had ties for almost a century. I don't see what was so bad about ties. Because people need to see a "winner"? Give me a (frank)ing break. Nobody won the (frank)ing hockey game. One team won a stupid skills competition that ignores 99% of the sport of hockey. The game ended in a tie. |

You are probably right. I could see him being returned to Adirondack. The frustrating thing so far about Fedetenko is he has played poorly on the PK, and has been destroyed at the dot. I wasn't expecting much offense from him. - PLindbergh31
I would like to see Fedotenko as a healthy scratch when Simmonds comes back. |

Yes. A guy sitting on a stool for 3 hours is certainly capable of jumping up and going in and stopping 3 shooters in a shootout |

It's possible that McGinn gets sent to the Phantoms, which sucks because I like that kid. - Jsaquella
I would be against that also. Its nice to have a big winger on each of the first three lines to balance things out. Simmonds, Hartnell and Mcginn would be my choices. I wouldnt mind leaving the first line from the last couple of games the same to see if the chemistry develops.
Tye McGinn - Claude Giroux - Danny Briere
Matt Read - Sean Couturier - Wayne Simmons
Scott Hartnell- Brayden Schenn -Jakub Voracek
Ruslan Fedotenko - Max Talbot - Zac Rinaldo
Okay first time ive done this. Rip it apart. |

Yea.. ya know.. put in the AHL guy. |

according to callers into Angelo "Ange" Cataldi, Bryz is the problem and Leighton should have been put in for the shootout.
Ange agreed - Crimsoninja
i feel dumber for having read this. |

Mind numbing. I live outside the WIP range, not that I would tune in anyway. Comical that this Cataldi clown would agree with this type of asshattery from a caller. |

One of the most glorious things about living in Cape May is no WIP. The Atlantic City guys don;t know poop either, but they admit it. Cataldi doesn't know poop, but acts like having Morganti and Jones around gives him knowledge. |

I like Hartnell with Bray-Bray and Jake to get his skating legs back but I'd like to see him on the top line with G again. Can't argue that McGinn, G and Danny have been a very effective line thus far though. |

it's not like bryz is letting in 5-hole dribblers and missing stoppable shots. for the most part, shooters are coming in with speed, making a move, and picking a corner, usually up high. not easy by any stretch. still, the team needs him to make a stop here and there. at the same time, our scorers, are absolutely dreadful. let's blame bryz when we don't score at the other end. read fired that puck right into JTs pad. |

Caller driven sports talk radio will rot your brain, period.
"Hey Ange, this is Jimmy from the Northeast. I wanna trade Leighton, Rinaldo, and our first round pick for Ovechkin.
I'll hang up and listen."

Sestito a game after being the first star, played like 5 shifts last night. He will prob be the first one to sit when Simmonds returns. - PLindbergh31
I noticed this too. All joking aside, he's not going to ever be more than a 13th forward who gets sparse playing time. But I had to keep checking the bench to make sure no one was missing. Seemed like Giroux was out every other shift almost, playing on that line. |
