10 games played, 1 assist, -6...........sounds like he'd fit right in. |

Playing like a man possessed. I've never seen a stretch like this from Vanek, he appears to rounding into a leader. Never thought I'd say that about him. - twistedwrister9
Good for him as well. He has always been skilled, but now, he seems on a mission to prove his offer sheet.
and, hell, he is good enough to be top-5 scoring yr end...if the Ruffmeister permits it |

We don't trade Myers to Edmonton without Eberle, RNH, or Hall coming back. |

Yak will be better than all except Eberle.
Just close your eyes, and think of Yak with Vanek.

Honestly, I think Eberle is the best of the bunch. I don't see what all the fuss is about RNH and Hall. |

You would have to add more to get one of those guys back. Myers seems to have regressed since his rookie campaign. Each of them have been improving even if nuge isn't scoring now, his defensive game is developing quite nicely. |

Rnh is smart and slick. Hall can take over games. |

You guys pick first every year because of poor play in net, from what Ive seen anyway. You guys should be more interested in Miller than Myers.
(I know you never said you wanted either, just saying the Myers thing seems less logical than Miller) |

Like I said the last three posts, no way in hell they trade for Schultz.
So, it leaves 4
Eberle is the cornerstone
Leaves 3
RNH is their wingman
Leaves 2
Oil overvalue Hall, leaves Nail, who is tits, and Hall, who is marbles but overvalued.
So....Nail/Meyers and a 2nd. |

Hall is the worst of the 5. His potential is Joker.
Sorry, not going to pan out.

you seem to be confusing Schultz for Bobby Orr....you act as if he is the second coming. |

Not the case this year. Dubby is playing well so far. It's more of a lack of support from our bottom 6 in terms of scoring. We also need that solid two way presence to play 30 a night, Maybe Myers answers that. Also a big 2c is needed and a winger like foligno in our top 6. |

Dubby may be playing well so far, but youve had strecthces of good goaltending in the past....over time not so much. Am I wrong? |

Homer everything I've heard is the coaching staff is worried about Myers but management loves him and are going to stick by him, have you heard different? |

I am sorry. I still can't understand why Gagner is not sold to the Oil base. He should be kept and built around...with the talent, he could be a Marleau type.
Oil need to fix bottom 6, so a Purcell or a Peverly type works. Less injuries too! |

I disagree to not panning out. Will he be a 100 point player? Likely no. Will he be a 70 point guy on average scoring 30 goals? I think so. He would've done it last year but injuries. Injuries are the only thing holding his future back. He has played much smarter this year as he has identified that problem. To me not panning out is career longevity in his case. He plays with too much passion and creates so many scoring chances to not pan out. No need to apologize as nobody here will know for sure until it happens |

yes, yes I have. You think management isnt worried about his play and delevopment? They watch the same games we do.
Do I think they are actively trying to move him? No. But Darcy wont hang up the phone if he gets calls for Myers either. |

No, I am pointing out it would be nonsensical to trade Schultz for Myers, to counter eachother out.
Eberle is the best of the bunch.
If trading Myers, Schultz is the least likely return of the 5 for the fact that they play the same position |

which makes little sense for either team |
