I disagree to not panning out. Will he be a 100 point player? Likely no. Will he be a 70 point guy on average scoring 30 goals? I think so. He would've done it last year but injuries. Injuries are the only thing holding his future back. He has played much smarter this year as he has identified that problem. To me not panning out is career longevity in his case. He plays with too much passion and creates so many scoring chances to not pan out. No need to apologize as nobody here will know for sure until it happens - ystoil
Please, look up the stats of Joker his first 5 seasons.
Then, think abt his scrambled brains playing the way he does as a beanpole.
Then, tell me you can build around it.
Expendable he is, unless, he changes his style. Skilled, but dumb. |

You hearing anything new heading into this weekend? They have to realize this team needs help. I've heard Darcy is being active right now but not a lot of teams want to deal yet. |

which makes little sense for either team - Homer
Are you saying Nail for Meyers (and a 2nd?) makes no sense also?
You haven't answered this clearly yet. |

Built around? They have 4-5 other guys you build around, not him. - Homer
Dirty secret of building a team- you don't build around your 'stars' (Ovi) you build around your veteran foundation, specifically, around the center position and goalie (spine of a team).
And, dude is fawking 23 and I would love for him to be on the Flames.

Who is joker?
Can't just go by stats. He has modified his style to an extent. He will get stronger and add muscle. He's got a big frame. I think he eventually hits 205. He's 195 now. |

Which is why my entire post stated why this would be the most nonsensical and unlikely of the big-5 options in EDM.
So- on the spot- would you be down with Nail for Myers (plus, possibly, a 2nd)??? |

Neither. Only way 57 goes is if we get a frontline center.
Yakupov and Hall are almost the same player. A lot of sizzle and still to be determined, the steak. |

nail. Hall is a bust. We've got Ennis and Hodgson; no difference between the 3 of them. The only way we trade with the oilers is of Stafford is going there, given his connection with the team. |

he's been in the league 5 full seasons and has score more than 18 goals in any one of them.
