Was annoyed when I heard Pardy was benched to allow players like Brennan and Leo and Myers to play.
I think I might have a stroke if I hear that Lindy is again taking Weber out for anyone! Weber has been ths teams steadiest dman since being inserted.
We have the softest d core in the league when Weber and Pardy are not on the ice.
Lindy is full of surprises and they arent good ones I tell ya.
Insane to think this man still stands behind that bench. |

At this point as a fan I sit Leo b/c he's been the worst out there, insert Pardy b/c I thought he had some jump and at least showed interest. I'd also keep Brennan in. He skated well, just shot the puck like the 2nd coming of Alex Zhitnik.
Since Leo eats minutes and Lindy has man-love for him he'll stay in and Pardy or Brennan sits. I'd think it would be Pardy b/c they may be showcasing Brennan. |

Yea it's evident they want to play Brennan. I think they should let him play another 5 games and let him get into a rhythm |

Brennan's so slow, that rhythm is gonna be a waltz.

If Brennan's best attribute is his shot, how come he misses the net as much as Zhitnik? |

I thought the same when it came to Brennan. I also thought they have to be showcsing him for a trade.
Nothing else explains why Pardy was taken out of the lineup when he was clearly better then a few defensemen on this roster. |

Really ? I thought he skated great against the Habs. I thought he faired well at the point on the PP but needs to learn to just get it on net instead of picking corners that turn the puck over put of the zone.
Like SB says above I'd like to see a string of games out of him..

Ehrhoff hasnt been any better either when it comes to hitting the net with his shot. |

I was watching form row 1 of the 300s, and I thought his positioning was pretty good, but his foot speed wasn't. Maybe he was just at the end of a shift the few times I noticed it or something. |

I'd venture he has less time to set up the one-timer (and is in position to do it less given his lower ranking on the Sabres than Amerks). Maybe he'll adjust. |

I have been suprised with Ehrhoff defensively, he's been good but on the offensive side he has been sub par. I know he has a few assists but it's mainly because he gets to be on the number 1 PP unit with Vanek and Pominville. He had 2 straight 14 goal 45 pt seasons in Vancouver, he now has 5 goals in close to 80 games here.
He's far from our problem but I expected more from him scoring wise, I think Myers or Brennan need a chance on that 1st unit to try to get things going for themselves, Ehrhoff is just not getting his shot on net |

I just think he's an AHL player, period. It's not even the one-timers that have been bad. I can recall at least three shots where he's outside of the faceoff circle where he's shot way wide.
Ehrhoff has been solid, in my opinion. He hasn't scored goals because we don't have the Sedins on this team. Evidence to support that claim would be Zack Kassian and the season he is having. Those guys create room and easy chances for others, including defenseman. I also think the West is more aggressive offensively and plays a more wide open game, generally speaking, than the East. |

He has been ok. There is more expected out of him. He supposed to QB the power play that has struggled. He has a huge problem getting his shot on the net too btw. I like him defensively, but he didn't score goals just because he was with the Sedins, he has a lethal shot from the point he's just not using it. |

The main thing we are looking forward to is going to Fabric during the weekend.... Landing on Wednesday and leaving Monday. Not sure what to do while we aren't partying.
Figured we'd hit the pubs and do some sight seeing.

We went to Ireland for 2 weeks this past October. Never been to England, but if it's anything like Ireland, which I am sure it is, you're in for a treat! Fabric would be amazing! Do you get the Fabric Live CDs? |

Ehrhoff is +4 and plays 24 minutes a game. He has 5 assists (most points for a defenseman) on this crap team.
The powerplay struggles when they let 63 carry the puck out of the zone. If you think the pp being weak is his fault, you're crazy. |

Then were partly crazy, he makes a nice play here and there but he's not producing. He was signed mostly to QB the PP and score some goals along with being responsible defensively. He's not doing 2/3 of that very well. |

Maybe you overlooked the part where I said "bust" was a poor choice of words on my part. Hall should have a high PPG average with the amount of playing time he gets for that team. Oilers fans are saying that he takes over games, which is funny because they've still drafted first overall twice since he has been on the team. The next Iginla? I guess time will tell. - The_Inkwell
No one in the league is the next iginla. To be that good offensively and still be able to beat up and top 9 forward in the league (not named Lucic) is insane |

he gets himself in good shooting positions and shoots quickly. i can see how he has alot of points in the AHL. i dont think he will have a problem scoring in the NHL level. i agree that when he has open shots on the goalie he needs to put it on net. |
