that is messed up
matteau has been playing with kovy and zajac and i believe he had close to 11-12 mins today vs pens and played in a close game in the 3rd.....him getting his first goal probably helped
i think if it was a full season the rookies would have more time and have a longer leash |

I'm not worried about it. By April his minutes will go up. He learned all he needed to in Quebec. Easy goals against soft competition isn't going to help him learn to play against grown men.
He should be getting more ice than he is tonight tho |
