Orr threw Gionta to the ice like a rag doll. Montreal is a very small/skilled team, they don't really have anyone to answer to guys like Orr in their lineup.

It's possible. Although Reimer may well have just been badly affected by the concussion, and is really that good. However, if he falters, Scrivens doesn't seem to be a real option from the little I have seen.

Superior to Stanford?......Stanford's D is top notch and their D line controlled the line of Scrimage. They're not a normal Pac10 team that doesn't tackle. With that said, it took an amazing catch by Ertz to win that game

His offense isn't a concern its the defense that worries me. Even when he was at Oregon he never had a good defense. They always seem to allow points. Problem is in the NFL his team won't average 40-45 points per game.

Superior to Stanford?......Stanford's D is top notch and their D line controlled the line of Scrimage. They're not a normal Pac10 team that doesn't tackle. With that said, it took an amazing catch by Ertz to win that game

Stanford beats teams with their minds. They are by in large affluent kids who are there to become doctors/engineers etc. Shaw is a fantastic coach, he will be an NFL coach in short order.

Stanford doesn't have athletic talent like Oregon did. Coaching played a huge factor in that game imo.

No need for Shaw to leave. He is a great coach who is getting big time money at a great university. He has no intention of going to the NFL. The Eagles would of jumped all over him if available b/c his style of play fits perfectly for the NFL.

They are very physical. No question about that. They do not have the athletes and skill position players that Oregon does.
