Ugly situation in Montreal last night. Can't wait to see how many games Grabovski gets suspended for biting Max Pacioretty. - PLindbergh31
It was an accident. |

Not often you see the team winning 6-0 losing it's composure. - Jsaquella
That was awful. I'm thinking at least 5 games for Grabovski, maybe more. No place in the sport for that kind of garbage.
Orr threw Gionta to the ice like a rag doll. Montreal is a very small/skilled team, they don't really have anyone to answer to guys like Orr in their lineup. |

Don't have to answer to Orr. Take a run at Kessel or JvR. |

I miss your Eli Manning picture. Guess you can replace it with Chip Kelly? |

Good point. Toronto looks much improved. I think eventually their goaltending will falter. |

So you have a comfort level with small things? - Jsaquella
One has to wonder if the same people that run to the mods to get Da Man permanently banned are the same ones making (I can only assume) misguided Richard jokes. |

Chip Kelly is a super clown. He's going to be NFC East fodder. |

It's possible. Although Reimer may well have just been badly affected by the concussion, and is really that good. However, if he falters, Scrivens doesn't seem to be a real option from the little I have seen. |

Taking Da Man hat off for a sec, congrats on the nursing thing. Some of the best and most remarkable people I have met in the past 5 years have come from your field.
Ok, hat back on. Cheers! - Daman
Would that be the ass-hat |

We shall see. The fact he lost at home with superior talent with a National Title berth on the line doesn't bode well. |

Richard jokes and now this. Da Man is above this. But I wish you well my friend.
Back to hockey, Read seems to exhibit a great a high shot in tight. Not aways easy.
Cheers!

Superior to Stanford?......Stanford's D is top notch and their D line controlled the line of Scrimage. They're not a normal Pac10 team that doesn't tackle. With that said, it took an amazing catch by Ertz to win that game |

His offense isn't a concern its the defense that worries me. Even when he was at Oregon he never had a good defense. They always seem to allow points. Problem is in the NFL his team won't average 40-45 points per game. |

I agree with your post. Stanford is a very good team and well coached. |

Stanford beats teams with their minds. They are by in large affluent kids who are there to become doctors/engineers etc. Shaw is a fantastic coach, he will be an NFL coach in short order.
Stanford doesn't have athletic talent like Oregon did. Coaching played a huge factor in that game imo. |

Shaw was the man to bring here. Very disappointed when he signed the extension and that blew up in my face |

Have to get 6 points minimum on this road trip. That would still leave them under .500 The dreadful start eliminated any margin of error.
I would sign on for 6 points on this trip. That would only leave them treading water, but a really bad road trip could leave them buried. - PLindbergh31
hence the move today. this road trip can't be a washout and if they can get 2 pts out of 2 non-bryz gms, that's worth it to me. |

Great road trip for Tampa. That team is soft as a marshmallow. Fraudulent. |

No need for Shaw to leave. He is a great coach who is getting big time money at a great university. He has no intention of going to the NFL. The Eagles would of jumped all over him if available b/c his style of play fits perfectly for the NFL. |

They are very physical. No question about that. They do not have the athletes and skill position players that Oregon does. |
