There was nothing wrong with Bryz last night, in my humble opinion.
I think his yanking was a wake-up call to the team, as opposed to the coach being displeased with his performance. - Atomic Wedgie
I agree. I think he was more of a victim of bounces and deflections than poor goaltending. They made the switch to try to light a fire, imo. |

so what's more likely if they only come home with 2 wins or less...

They will fold the franchise. |

That's kind of my point on the fear of a short-term panic move. There is a lot of potential on this team that will (should) be realized as some of these guys mature.
Make an off-season deal or two for some defense and be ready for 2013-2014.
This year's Cup winner gets an asterisk anyway, so not winning it this year isn't a big deal anyway. - Scoob
Agreed. I wouldn't mind moving B. Schenn for someone if need be. I'd be open to Yandle if the price falls. |

Still waiting for the scathing Bryz piece, too. I mean, how DARE he talk to an elderly fan after being pulled. - tangent_man
Unreal. "Panaccio typical."

I agree.. He had no chance on any of those goals. Orr's goal was off of a rebound from an original deflection. - jak521
Agred. I didn't say he played badly or was the reason they lost, I just think he didn't look as sharp in his movements as he has all season. Maybe the otherwise sucky play of the team blurred my vision. |

Flyers didn't look bad after that - they put 33 shots on Scrivens in 36 minutes. Just didn't score.
- Atomic Wedgie
Mostly perimeter shots. Easy saves.

Just like the '95 Devils! (Who went on to win again in '00 & '03 to dismantle '95 fluke talk.)
I'm so sure the Cup winners will only lift the Cup 3/4 of the way in honor of the asterisk. |

So has the world ended yet after 1 bad game last night? All the positive talk after the great homestand, and its fire the coach, tank for Jones, trade for the hell of it again? Lovely... |

I'm glad he didn't speak to the press last night. They surely would've asked nothing but stupid questions looking for an outrageous headline. F 'em. |

The biggest problem JvR had here is something you were just guilty of. Too many people compared him to LeClair. Totally different players in every single aspect.
JvR will NEVER become John LeClair. Ever. - jak521
Not true. He and Hartnell could co-own a trucking company someday. |

You dont think there is anything to be worried about? We are in 11th place in the east right now, while having played 13 games, where as 11 have played 12 at the most (by have played 11, 1 ten). We are a sub-.500 team right now. |

See, this is where you have to be like 2Real. Assume they are going to lose every game 10-0 and it will only look better.
