Wingers come and go but an all star 6'4" 220 pound #1 center is something you do not let go if you are lucky enough to have one. Players like Getzlaf do not come around very often. |

LA has the most fair-weather fans I've ever seen. Some true diehards, but so many clueless re-t@rds who don't know what an icing is. - SotaPopinski
No offense but you guys let the North Starts go when Mike Modano was in his prime. I will never understand how that happens.

No Panic in Flyersland...
Despite a very up and down start, and some key injuries, the Flyers do not appear to be in a trading frame of mind as of yet...(so that either means they are being patient or a trade will happen by the time I press "Submit" on this story...
It's called the subtle tank!!!!

Right. Misunderstanding. When I said "we have some" I didn't mean diehards. I meant idiots who don't know what's going on. LA fans have been loyal for a really long time. Of course with us winning the cup all sorts of people hop on the wagon. But the fans who have been waiting 45 years to see us win are what are fanbase is. Nothing against San Jose or Anaheim. But LA being a bandwagon city is a common misconception. - Deadmau55
Goes with LA having such a large population, more people who just started paying attention when they won the cup then act like they've always been there. Same thing would happen in any major US city with the possible exception of phoenix |

Minnesota legislature. North Stars left, Twins almost contracted, Vikings nearly moved to LA. Little of it had to do with fan support or who was on the roster |

Tough spot for the Ducks to be in. They have been one of the best teams in the league. Do they really want to trade one or both of their impending UFAs and ruin their chances at a Cup run, or is it worth losing them for the potential glory of another championship? You know, there's a LOT of money made for the franchise in a long playoff run. I say Anaheim keeps them and goes for it, then tries to re-sign them both, salary cap permitting. |

Minnesota needs to change their dumb name back to the North Stars, and get the old sweaters out of storage. Secord and I will come out of retirment for the first tilt. |

Selanne, Koivu, and Lydman coming off the books. That's nearly $11.5 mil right there... if this isn't a no-brainer, I don't know what is. |

They need to get rid of the Christmas colors and stick with that really nice green alternative jersey. And then make an away version like the kings did. |

Hmm... How many have you ever seen?
Didn't you guys lose a hockey team a few years back?
I just got into hockey a couple months ago when the Kings won the Super Bowl so I may be wrong. |

Surprisingly the Christmas sweaters are popular up here, but I'll be the first to admit that we are different breed. |

the new jersey devils with a stock pile of young defenseman and about 14 million in cap space will be ringing the ducks ear if they look to unload either of these forwards. |
