If that makes you happy... Like I said I'm not one to stick around to play in the mud. I might kick and splash around for a bit but at some point I'm getting out. I don't need, nor do I want to constantly view the team with that much negativity. And it would be the same for anything.

At a certain point i no longer want to feel nothing but anger and resentment towards the sport I love.

I'm not being unrealistic, or naively optimistic. I'm just choosing not to spend all my energy i put into hockey on crying about the same things year after year.

It's not like we have any control over the situation. I don't like to consistently bring myself down about things I can do nothing about. It's problem isn't solvable to me, so why waste my tears and energy on it.

I spend maybe 1 minute of my day being annoyed by the Sabres. I'm just saying I would rather fault real problems (Regier, Ruff, Players) than to post insane trades or players that we will never get (even though it actually puts a smile on my face). I'm a fan of the game, last night we had the Lightning comeback, the Bruins comeback, and the Caps comeback, it was one of the craziest nights of hockey I've ever watched, that's what I'm a fan of.

Exactly my feelings . I have stopped coming around for those reasons . Bad enough the Sabres are playing like crap . But we have to hear the same harsh crap over and over . We know the problems . Here is hoping Ted Black and Terry Pegula finally realize what has to be done .
- Maximum Signal

What does everyone want to talk about then, the price of sushi?!?

These message boards are a moot point then, if us, as fans, can't voice our opinions. And if the Sabres, as an organization, don't want to change this DRECK they put out onto the ice every night, then you guys should expect to hear the same things from us.

And that's fine, as you certainly don't fill very thread with dozens of posts filled with nothing but female doging.

But some do. Lots do actually.

Just saying it would be nice if we had a place that wasn't as miserably and depressing as the actual hockey games.

I am honestly livid, the man has never scored 20 goals and he thinks he can play hardball with the avs like this? He's great, but developing, he is still only the third guy on the depth chart and he thinks he deserves that kind of contract? For the longest time I have been mad that Colorado didn't sign him, now I don't even want him on my team, a younger more spoiled zack parise apparently.

i think 82 has been about what i expected- about a half a point per and streaky.

he gets confused some times- "am i a power forward or a skilled forward?" (ppg last season messed with him a bit).

but i think he will be a good one. seems to have that drive that others are missing (shorty last night not withstanding)...

Ruff wasn't going to change Drury or Briere. They are both independent guys who wouldn't be told what to do. Vanek and Pominville have been here their whole careers, so we don't know what they could have done if in a different position. Guys who played considerably worse when they came here: Boyes, Torres, Bernier, Zubrus, Conklin, Lalime, Moore, Niedermayer, Kennedy, Leino.
- adambuffalo

this is a bunch of nonsense, IMO. Independent guys who wouldnt be told what to do? AKA players who dont listen to their coach? Come, that's BS and you know it.

Vanek and Pommer have had great careers under Ruff. You think they would be 50-60 goal scores year in and year out under a different coach? Please.

Boyes sucks, Torres sucks, Bernier sucks, Zubrus was ok here and thats all he is, who cares about the goalies and who is Kennedy???

Nino pretty much did the same thing with the Iles

Hockey has proved you can hold out and you will eventually get what you want. Im sure hell go to some cup contender for a late 1st and some boarderline prospect.

I dont like his attitude....he's just very immature as a human being, telling hamilton he doesnt take face off serious bothers me, I know off ice stuff about him that isnt Roy bad but is just stupid, and cut youre fricken hair and look like man, not a skater boy or 12 y/o girl.

I know he is talaneted but he bugs me....just like so many things with this team.

No one is saying you can't voice you opinion?

Merely expressing my opinion, that it gets a little depressing going from a poop game to a community that has nothing but poopty and redundant things to say. It's not as if its always a problem, it just gets exhausting when every Garth thread has 15+ pages of which is primarily female doging and moaning and nothing but an empty woe is me circle jerk.

It makes it so if have anything different to say at all, it's almost not worth bothering. I don't think this communities intent is to drive off anyone that isn't willing to wallow in the dirt with us?
