Harts needs to come back ASAP. Claude misses him!

The one I think Claude misses might be Jagr. |

both hits in that sequence looked clean to me, the jet got called for charging- i didn't go back to look and see how many strides the guy took but live viewing didn't look penalty worthy - Don'tForgetTocchet
I don't the puck was anywhere near Rinaldo when the Jet hit him. Maybe not charging, but definitely a penalty. |

I wonder who's going to lose their job as a result of McGinn's emergence when Scott Hartnell returns.
No way McGinn goes back to ADK now, right? - johndewar
It's gotta be Knuble |

Hard to say after a game like last night where everyone played well.
Id say its probably a combo of McGinn, Knuble, and Rinaldo. Nothing wrong with scratching Knuble here and there with his old body. McGinn and Rinaldo could sit at any given point either cool off.
It's going to be damn hard for Knuble to stay in the line-up if that 4th line keeps playing the way it did last night though. He's definitely the odd man out imo. - mochoson
I'd been advocating that it's time to sit Fedotenko. Even though last night's game was his strongest all year, he's got to keep that up, IMO. |

Just a guess. Can't have one of G, Schenn, Briere or Couts on the 4th line either so somebody's going to have to play wing. |

I thought Peluso's charge was actually interference. A penalty, just called the wrong thing. |

I think the first penalty was called holding as well when it was more roughing or unsportsmanlike. |

Hartnell has done nothing for weeks. He'll be traded by St. Patrick's Day.

It was a very good team win. It would have been easy last night to fold, especially after the Jets had a ton of pressure in the early going.
The Flyers had a game where everyone did his job and worked hard for 60 minutes. They kept grinding and got superb goaltending.

I would switch either mcginn or simmonds to the second line so there is a guy to play kind of the power forward role on each of the first three lines. |

Blue Jackets hire Jarmo Kekalainen as GM...that's a good move. He's the first European GM in NHL history and did a lot of great work for the Blues in unearthing prospects in the draft. |

I'd keep McGinn with B. Schenn & Jake for now. It's hard to slot Briere in |

I totally agree. 19, 17 and 15 should play on three different lines. |

If they can get 6/8 points remaining 4 games on this road trip, that loss in Toronto doesn't look so bad. 8 out of 12 points is nothing to scoff at. |

I think its getting harder and harder to find a place for Briere. I was against buying him out at the end of the year at first but it looks like he should be looked at as a possible casualty. |

Yeah Briere kinda throws the whole thing off because you want to keep that McGinn/Schenn/Voracek line together but you can't put Danny on the 3rd line because of his defensive abilities (or lack thereof). Him and G didn't see to click either but I think that's where he ends up. |

I don't love the idea of 48-14-17 when Harts comes back, but I almost think you have to do that with the combination of other players. |

Maybe Danny with G and Hartsy and bump up McGinn and put Read with Simmer and Couts. |

There should be a team out there with cap space who would trade for Briere and pay him $5 million for the next two seasons. |

I'm not a big fan of Fedotenko but I think they may not want to scratch him because he does kill penalties |
