He didn't start the season on the 4th line, did he?

Edit: Fact is, he's efficient on the 4th line as he faces the other team's 4th line. Lower competition might be the best way to use him and get some offense from him.

He's been with Moen and Amrstorng all season, except for those couple days when Max had his first near death expierence, and then he got to play on the wing.

Maybe he is most effective when playing center with familar linemates? just like any player.

And i didn't realize that coaching in the NHL was as simple as matching line 1 to 1 and 4 to 4.

It is also keeping your 2nd best defenseman on the bench when trying to preserve a lead because you harvest some kind of grudge against him, but hey, team first and poop...

Carlyle matches 2 to 1, 1 to 3, 3 to 2 and 4 to anybody who isn't wearing skates.

What happened to the days off checking lines neutralizing the top lines, While trying to position your top line against the weaker matchup?

Guess that last change home ice advantage thing is not as important anymore.

No matter what team it is?

Nice, thanks for sharing this info, now teams can change the line number above the players names and totally mess with his system.

People are nuts. It's like they are craving for this. They want the end of the world to really happen just so they can say "I called it first".

I remember when John-Paul II died, Benedict XVI was the black pope, or evil pope if you will. His looks certainly fit the bill though.

Well it IS important, so long as your team can control the puck in the offensive zone long enough so the weaker competition can't go for a change.

What are you talking about, just watch the next time the habs play the Bruins, any time Bergeron hits the Ice, Jack Adams is going to send out DD to counter attack.

(frank), I've ruined the secret, I can already see Mike Richards snitching on this info.

Was at the Winnipeg game....why Orr and McClaren were dressed against a team that barely fights was puzzling to say the least. If they aren't fighting then they are useless.

They are both from Winnipeg but was he trying to embarrass them in front of family and friends? If so....well done.

He should of let them sit in the stands and enjoy the game with their families.
