I know, we lose the best future coaches ever.. BB and Kirk
We lose the best capologist in the league
Now we lose the best amateur scout ever... we are doomed.

The rest he boiled down to luck.

if it makes everyone feel better, great, let's put it on luck. bottom line is that the Canadiens would not have risked being burned by bad luck had they not been under seige those last 6 minutes. bottom line, they could not close it out for the third time in a row.

Do you think the 2nd Tampa goal should have been disallowed? They barely looked at it from what I saw. It did look like it was punched in...
- l3ig_l2ecl

Oh come on. The replay was not conclusive. "Looked like" is not enough to change a referee's decision.

That's what happens to fragile teams. If they can get through this and still get some points they should be ok.

Disagree. They got screwed in Buffalo (as per Fraser) and thrashed by the Leafs. They played a good game last night. They were lax on the first goal no doubt. After that, poop happens. They stayed with it and pulled out the win.

Meh they dropped the ball in Buff and against the Bs as well. The TO game well what to say. Its a trend that they're letting some of these games get farther than they should.

They also outshot Tampa 11-7 in the Third, which usually the play defensively with only a 1 goal lead.
I wonder how the chatter is going with the Rangers fans who let a 2 goal lead slide also.

they end up on bad calls at the goalmouth becasue they allow action to unfold there. it'll happen but it happens mostly to teams with an inability to contol the puck late in the game

They didn't really play that well last night...Tampa sucked and had no legs...

The best hab last night was Eller... I think EE and some others are making Subban out to be better than he really is. He's a good young defensemen, not the second coming of bobby orr...

He might eventually live up to some of those expectations but he's not there yet...

That said, hard to imagine Yzerman will can the guy who Stamkos and others have referred to as the best coach they've ever had.

I sure can't stand him though

I thought he clearly directed the puck into the net with an intentional repositioning of his body--and he punched it in with his hand. That said, because it was called a goal on the ice, I'm not sure what grounds they had to call it back. It wasn't a high-stick, as it was under the bar, and you couldn't say for sure as to whether or not it went off his glove or the butt end of his stick.

It was a tough one.
