Columbus has three first rounders this year in a deep draft. The rebuilding won't take very long, especially with Kekalainen at the helm of the franchise.

Yeah he was one of the best as a chief scout, maybe even better than Timmins. But he had more and better picks over the years. I believe he's the one who stole Tarasenko at 16th overall too, to later resign and go be a GM in Finland.

I don't think Markov's injury was to the Achilles but rather the ankle. Achilles injury is what Chipchura had in junior, and he never was the same after it. Lost a few steps in his skating.
