A better idea is to move Bozak, with a prospect, for O'Reilly. Bozak played his college hockey in Denver, so it may be a natural fit. Saying that, they may not be interested in another center. It will take at least a defenceman, in the Gunnerson caliber, and a prospect that is a probable NHL player. It could be a Tyler Biggs or Joe Colborne.

If Reilly + 1st was coming back... You people need to realize that O'Reilly is a core quality player and Colorado would want at least one core level/potential player coming back. If one of the players wasn't somewhat proven then both pieces need to be high on potential.

Personally besides Gardiner there isn't any of your active roster players I would want, and even Gardiner has his serious question marks. (Besides obviously Kessel of course, but I'm not going there.)

Toronto's core is what? Kadri, Kessel, Phaneuf?, Grabovski?, Gardiner, Reilly?... A lot of question marks there.

So were giving up all that for a guy whos accomplished 8 more pts than bozak last year while bozak missed 8 games playing 73 games while O'Rielly played 81 games

If Reilly + 1st was coming back... You people need to realize that O'Reilly is a core quality player and Colorado would want at least one core level/potential player coming back. If one of the players wasn't somewhat proven then both pieces need to be high on potential.

Agreed, I actually think he will become the Leafs second compliance buyout. Maybe this year but more likely the year after. I think JVR will be the top line center next year unless we sign Getzlaf or make a trade.

Kadri will center the second line and I think Bozak is a perfect third line center, good face offs, can play on the PK, can move up if need be.
