I've played with elite-level women, and at the end of the day, they don't have a slapshot or wrist shot that is better than mine.

I'm just not so sure how that equates to her having a chance at making the NHL.

Frankly, it seems a little bit like the "they should just let the players take steroids" debate.

It's not going to happen because, in addition to physical differences, the lawyers would eventually step in. Would there be a requirement that every team should have X amount of female players?

And, much like the steroid debate, what happens when a woman gets creamed and they have to take her off the ice on a stretcher? If that wouldn't pull all the Lionel Hutz types out of the woodwork, I don't know what would.

I firmly believe you could take a rep boys team of 15 year olds they would smoke any women's national team. Some sports will never see women compete on the same level. Hockey is one of them.
