I'm only here because my 4 year old daughter thought getting up before 4am was a good idea.

I blame Boucher. They need to start being more accountable for their play. Boucher is always blaming the refs or injuries, it's never their fault. When all else fails, he will even try to blame the loss on the ghosts that are living in the arena.
Someone needs to get on their butts for the lazy/sloppy play....something has to change quick.....Although Seth Jones looks pretty awesome.

This is becoming old quickly. Matt Carle please take your strolls in the park on a day off. Everyone Shoot the puck rebounds are good. Bring up more Syracuse players at least they work hard all the time.stamkos shoot the puck stay in the slot we don't need you throwing your weight around in the corners all the time. Please put some traffic in front of the goalie on power plays.

I think a lot of people questioned what tampa had in goal this year. Interesting to see how long this goes on.

Been there, done that. It won't last forever and when she is grown up you will wonder where the time went. So, enjoy your lives and give your daughter a hug!

The score flatters the Lightning since the game was long over at 4 - 1.

Lightning need to get the forwards more involved in back checking and properly positioned in their own end. I thought the Capitals out skated and worked them so they need to regain their skating speed and work ethic.

Bringing up some players will provide some energy but could expose some good players on the waiver wire. Carle definitely was off his game last night.

Six loses in a row is ugly and if it continues Boucher will be in danger. That said, better have a coach ready to replace him before pulling the plug. Don't think firing Boucher would help at this point. Boucher would be better off implementing a more defensive hockey style than the current run and gun offense.

They can't allow this many goals to be scored and expect to make the playoffs.

He's back but if we ignore him, he likely will lose interest and go away.

Agreed, we are being out skated right now for significant portions (if not the majority) of these games. All of the early success is biting us in the a$$ right now.

I'll be here all week!

Some of the non crap from yesterday would include the fact that the coaching rumours have started. Keenan is one name on the list and Mikey had mentioned Pat Quinn (doubtful) and Jon Cooper.... maybe.

I will throw out Gerrard Gallant, currently in Montreal and obvious ties to Stevie, Dallas Eakins from the Marlies and Bob Boughner in Windsor.

Also, although Garon was not totally at fault last night, goaltending is an issue and needs to be corrected quickly. Lindback is the obviously your guy, but needs to step his game up.

Lindback has been stellar. End of story. (maybe 1 soft goal against NYR after the game was out of reach) Anybody that suggests otherwise really hasn't watched him in the past 3-4 games.

I'd love to see Dallas Eakins behind the bench, guy's great with developing players and is long overdue for a head coaching role. Thought he should've been the one taking over in Toronto last year. Not too familiar with Cooper, but he would definitely be in the mix too.

There are no coaching rumors. Guy Boucher is safe.

He is this season, however if we finish outside of the playoffs then that is a different story. Then only guy I would want to replace Boucher is Cooper. Lindback is our guy, and we'll ride him like a pony for the remainder of the season.

Not like Yzerman to make a rash decision like that. He's methodical in his practice. He went to the Detroit Red Wings School of Management
