Ed Wang is in the mix now. All is right with the world. Any fools that listen to that super clown Didinger with that dead squirrel on his head are lost. - PLindbergh31

I think parcels would agree that you have to go through some bad seasons to get better tho. All his teams did. With the youth it's bound to happen. My problem this year is the veteran guys who poop the bed tho. - JoeRussomanno
I just don't feel this team is close to being a Cup contender. A series of moves would have to be made to make them one imo. |

All three of those guys are younger players in their prime who could grow with the team. Jagr is old and injured often. I like the player but not worth taking up that cap hit. - stveshdy
I'd imagine he would've stayed if they offered him close to the same amount as last year. Homer obviously went for the big guys, while Carle and Jagr sat around. I'm sure that didn't sit well with them, which is why they left. Seeing where they're at right now, I wouldn't have a problem with either of them back with the team. |

there will be no trades this year unless we are selling, there is no one player out there that will change our teams dynamics.
g needs a "real winger"
this is just a pre-season for next year, glad its short...its gonna be a different beast next year with the cap dropping and buy-outs, it should be a real entertaining off-season.
wonder if nashville will want to hold onto weber and his deal next season on how bad he sucks this year
cooke look liked he purposely raised his skate against karlson, if he did he should castrated |

Didn't like the signing. Go look back last week. I got blasted for it. |

Fans have waited plenty long enough. But I do agree with you and anyone else who believes that are no quick fixes. |

Easy to say that when your seeing the results. Harder to make those decisions in the moment. He went for the big time players and failed. |

Well there's the loss that starts the hockey talk again, as someone predicted. We just can't seem to get back to .500, back to 2 games under. So, who are we after, who are we trading, who are we buying out? |

i would rather have carle and jvr going forward, but i don't think we would have won tonite w/ them when kimmo and bryz were below par. |

Well, unfortunately when you go for the big guys, you also run the risk of striking out. It does help to have a back up plan, but it seems like those went elsewhere. Which is partially why they are where they are right now. |

Bryzgalov has been better but they find ways to blow it. They don't take care of the puck, that has been killing them all season. Now with kimo down this just went from bad to utterly horrible. |

Asked Bryz what went wrong today. He said "I don't know. Ask the coach." |

I personally thought they could get Timonen cheaper. Everyone said thats the going rate on the open market. I think they overpaid. What are the other options? Thats where the GM has to get creative. |

It all starts with the draft. They simply have to do a better job. |

I don't think there were other options, besides a trade. Timonen had all the leverage in the deal, which is probably why the deal is higher than we'd all like. |

bryz gets a pass, the rest of the team is doing the best they can, they are what they are, a young team with alot of growing to do |

It was not a successful summer. If you look at who went and who was coming in it was obvious to many they got worse. |

Done a good job with first round picks, have basically found nothing in later rounds. |
