Cause we have Knuble, Fed, and Rinaldo - stveshdy
When Hartnell comes back and let's say Talbot goes to the fourth line, I'm all for Wellwood getting ice time over Knuble or Fedotenko. Rinaldo hits and generates momentum, has been drawing penalties lately so I think he should stay. But speedy Wellwood should get a 2nd crack at it IMO. |

I'm not with you there. I want the veteran players and the experience of Knuble and Fedetenko in the lineup over Wellwood. |

I guess since we're putting Lavi on the hotseat, who would be a candidate to replace him? Terry Murray seems to be an obvious choice, what with already being in the organization and having an NHL resume. Who else is out there? - BulliesPhan87
If Laviolette got fired this season, I think that Murray or John Paddock would finish the year as interim coach rather than an outside candidate being hired this year. Not sure, of course. |

Knuble has been playing better than I expected but getting too many penalties.
Both are very slow and Fed on the PK is often out of position IMO or not quick enough to apply pressure and giving the point/D lots of time to move/shoot the puck.
I recall Wellwood in the playoffs being very responsible and playing every game if I remember correctly.
You do have a point with the veteran presence helping out the youngsters.

Anyone who would not trade Couturier for Subban has rocks in their head in my opinion. - flyerdude17
You have rocks in your head if you DO that trade... Maybe if they were both in their ELC I might consider it. |

Do you think that looks likely? I'm wondering if this team has written Lava off. |

The season is about to turn around. Should start thinking about handing the "C" over to Gus. This kid is about to help right the ship. |

Call me crazy, but I don't see a team getting blown up. Holmgren realizes he's got a lot of good young pieces and let's face it, if Giroux was playing at 90% of what he was last season, they're in much better shape.
They're on the playoff fence getting very little from Giroux and almost nothing from Hartnell. |

poop happens. Have to play with what you have. Players need to step up its that simple. Timonen is ONE player, it takes a team to win. |
