Another 38 years with no championship?

They looked physically and mentally dead.
Brayden Schenn had a couple of turnovers turn into goals. 21 year old it's going to happen.
They are at best an average team right now, and at worst near the bottom, especially with key players out.
They'll bounce back, but making the play offs seems like a longshot at the moment.
No easy fixes for this team that I can see.

Young kids make mistakes, I agree, but when you are young it's very easy to try to make up for it with effort. I have yet to see even minimal effort.

1 game shouldn't change that view. However, this season so far has not been very good overall.

if they can acquire young talent like weber or pajaarvi at a reasonable cost, that's about it.

i'm focused on this team and their prospects for success today. i enjoyed the 2 successful cup runs, but i also enjoyed all of the great hockey in between then and now. if this org had shown more patience, they might have cashed in by now, but i can't walk around thinking 38 yrs, 38 (frank)in' yrs - (frank) that.

I didn't think he was very good. But it's his first NHL game, so he get's a pass.

Its an evaluation and growing year. Unfortunately they are choosing to learn those lessons the hard way.

If Bryzgalov continues to play well he will cement himself into the team and erase and questions of a buyout.

If Briere continues to not produce, one of my personal favourite players may be looking at a buyout.

Giroux has shown he is human and is still growing as a player, that needs talent on his wings.

Brayden Schenn, and Voracek in particular need to show what they have.

They suck, but with some good moves in the off-season they aren't too far off.

Well that's another way to look at it. It is a choice, no doubt. I have no idea how old you are. But I choose to believe that both you and I, have a lot of time left.
