So did you guys fix the team yet?
Couturier still untouchable?
Luke still adjusting but the trade was just what we needed?
Having we started teaching the rest of the D the flop on your face and sprawl your arms and legs technique that Coburn and Schenn have perfected?
Fired the coach?
How about the GM?
How many years has it been again? Someone must know... - mayorofangrytown

Listening to Jones and Coates praise Coburn for his play on thqat third goal made me want to punch the TV as much as I wanted to punch the radio when the pregame announced the Habs starting goalie as Peter "Boo-dage" |

jones is a very good studio analyst for NBC, but he's just mailing it in doing color for the flyers. |

That third goal was largely on the forwards, though. Both D and a forward were battling behind the net as the play developed. No one covered the dangerous Plekanec in front. At least Coburn's desperation shot block bought them a moment or two to recover. |

in a rarity i'd have to disagree. plekanac was turning and tossing the puck on net. a bit of a gamble and an easier stop for boucher. once he had a chance ro gather with boucher down and coburn out of the play the percentage jumped. had coburn played the man boucher could have made the save and plekanac would have been eliminated. it's rarely good to be on your face. |

YEAH WELL BILL IS RIGHT AND YOU ARE WRONG.
I'd give more blame to BSchenn there, I think he has to drift in front of the net a little more with both D down low. If the puck goes up the wall there is a winger there. Protect the front of the net, first and foremost. If I'm coby I don't hope Bouch makes that save and take the body. I block the shot and hope Bouch can follow the puck. Which he did, and then flopped on his ass twice. |

I watched this game. Coming into this sme I thought Budaj was probably the worst backup in this league
Guess what?
It made me think it even more with confidence
This guy isn't an NHL goalie. He is so. (frank)ing. Terrible. Absolutely brutal. Tripping over his own feet, big rebounds, can't squeeze shots, it's a gongshow.
I am absolutely embarrassed to be a Flyer fan tonight. Scoring 1 goal on an absolutely terrible goalie. I could've been in the net for Montreal and the Habs would've won
Disgusted. This team is brutal right now. No consistency at all. Play great 1 game, terrible the next 2. Then we play well, then play bad
Just (frank)ing tank please. Enough of this play great then play like poop bullpoop |

SETH JONES! - 2Real
If they do happen by some slim chance to land Seth Jones, I hope they develop him until he's at least 20 in the AHL, or until he is a man amongst boys in the A. But they won't fall that far on the draft board.
With that being said, only 10 weeks remain in the season |

The third goal happened because B Schenn made a terrible turnover along the boards. |

the worst thing that homer did last summer was let jagr walk, he gave this team inspiration, confidence, etc, it was obvious that the team loved his presence and gave them a pulse which they lack now, no pulse... |

I was against bringing Jagr back.
The fact that they lost Jagr and JvR hurts the scoring plus no Hartnell for most of the year.
You also have to rely on Simmonds and Talbot matching their goal output.
Schenn and Couturier are suppose to pick up some of the goal slack. Couturier has been a non-factor in the offensive zone this year. |

I am actually sure Snider is very upset.
Anyone that thinks he has not tried to win every year has not been a Flyers fan. - opeth_pa
That is definately part of the flyers problem. That's part of why the Flyers farm system is ranked dead last in NHL prospects. DEAD LAST. 2 guys on the entire system are projected 2 be solid NHLers (3rd line and above, 2nd pairing and above) and that includes the flyers 1st round pick last year.
If you are drafted by the flyers and can't play in the NHL at most one year after you are drafted, you are either traded or the Flyers can't find anyone to take your contract. That's assuming the Flyers haven't traded the pick on the next great rental defenseman who is going to put them over the top for the cup while the team struggles just to make the playoffs.

It's time to start getting some of those picks back. Their paying too much for coburn, grossman, schenn for what they bring to the ice collectively. I could see parting with one at the deadline and time to turn the Page on Briere at the deadline. Yes a know about the nmc |

I have no faith in the flyers bringing along a defensive prospect. I would rather them draft McKinnon if given the choice |
