I have to agree. I think he's far and away the best dman on our team, but that's not saying much. I think pairing him with AMac is poison at this stage. That first goal was a disgrace for both of them (including Frans) as all three stood and watched Greenig get multiple pokes at the puck as DP tried to cover it. It seems like neither one is real aware of the other as they both have gotten caught behind the net together on more than a few occasions lately. - keaner17
You will have no problem moving Hammy. He gets stuck with AMac, plays against the #1 line every night, hardly his fault.... He will be easy to move. |

If he trades Striet, he needs to get something back to get them to the Cap floor again..Unless someone is getting a raise,,,, maybe DP?? - bixll
No he doesn't. That was the point of the Thomas trade. |

....hamonic has NOT been great; hes average at best right now. i may be because he is being overused but he has had a decent season so far... - LetsGoIsles

No way in hell I'd move him. He's one of the best players we have and one of the only one's who brings it each night. I'm more concerned about his play from a mental perspective. We don't have any responsible dmen to teach him. |

Hamonic is the least of their worries. He is still young and learning. He is a horse and will be for the next 12 plus years |

agreed...the problem is that horse may be developing some bad positional tendancies and we have a coaching staff that knows NOTHING about defensive play. We have no one on the ice that can give him a good example. I'm afraid we could watch him regress. |

As bad as they have been they are only 4 points out of a playoff spot. If Wang spent a little money they could be in the playoffs |

It's a leap of faith for a team that has a terrible track record in developing it's players. My point is, I don't think he's played that great so far this season and a lot of that is on his pairing with AMac. I'd change that FAST before things get worse.
We've seen plenty of kids show good promise but go straight to hell while playing for this team. I think Hamonic is definitely a keeper and maybe even an all star dman someday, if any team can screw that up.... |

based on his reaction on the bench when they showed him with his head in his hands with a few seconds to go in the game, it seemed like DP knew his job is on the line and he failed.... |

He is just too slow now... never going to get back to being a top tier goalie. Cut ties.. |
