It seems like every strategy for slowing down Crosby might work for a few shifts and then he adjusts and ends up burning you. It's a shame so many Flyers fans hate him to the point where they can't appreciate what he does on the ice (luckily that's not too many on here). He is so much fun to watch. - NickTheKid87
Finally, a Flyer fan can see it. You don't have to like him, but you should darn well admire his skill level. |

Did Saturday night as well. Sunday was not good. I don't think I've ever drank that much. I don't think I can even look at another beer again. |

Enuff with the trade Coots stuff. If we didn't trade him for Weber (best Dman out there) he won't be traded for anyone. |

As opposed to sitting at computer all day? I've made coffee run, made grocery list for the week, and taken kids to The indoor pool already. And it's only 1:15. So point is ? |

If you talk to an honest, intelligent Flyers hockey fan... you will know we all agree with that.
Id take him on my team any day.
He could win 5 straight Cups, eliminating the Flyers in game 7 ECF OT each time... and Id still want him.

Really? Coots is god?? Sells ??? ##1 center??? Every trade rumor out there starts with coots going the other way??? Soooo homer traded Ritchie that fast but if homR called all 29 other teams and put coots with picks or whatever to overpay a little your saying not 1 gm would call back and say deal? Why ? Because bills blog said gm has to call around and try to squeeze more. Didn't happen with Ritchie did it. Nope. His a$$ was gone just that fast! Use your head not bills. Think trade deadline day. Do you think every trade that goes done is mulled over for months? - SMS4016
Every trade rumor starts with Couts because EVERY TEAM ASKS FOR HIM. It's not the Flyers shopping him.
And you're missing the point entirely. It doesn't matter if a trade is fair or not, both GMs will try to get the upper hand.
I'm sure after Carter went, teams started inquiring about Richards. Let me ask you this, if you were a Blue Jackets fan would you have been ok with giving up Jake Voracek, the 8th overall pick and a 3rd rounder for Carter? Doesn't even matter that they drafted Couturier, that's still an overpayment because Columbus was trading from a POINT OF WEAKNESS. They needed a #1 center like we need a puck mover. |

Letang's one more bad concussion away from a ruined career. If he goes looking for trouble, I hope he finds it. |

Those with a history of concussions are much more vulnerable. A James Neal-style jumping elbow to a player like Crosby or Neal would likely cause a lot more damage than it did to Couturier. |

Do you guys really think they would have resigned Kimmo if they had a deal for a legit Number one? |

If thats the case, Giroux is one bad hit away from a ruined career as well. Plus, Neal has never had concussion problems |
