Shekkie! Where the blink have you been?
Good "seeing" you. You should stick around more. - Flyskippy
I still come around for nearly every post Bill puts up, just don't comment much.
Besides, I'm still stuck in the Fire Stevens, Trade Carter Time Warp.

pretty funny at the draft when the Pitts crowd all booed Homer, I wonder what the flyer fans will do when Shero comes up, politely clap? - vejim
I'd ask Shero how his wife and my kids are doing. |

You keep going on about it being a huge cap hit. When he is 36 his cap hit will not be so huge. How are you not getting this?
The overall cap will be higher, and his cap hit will be a smaller % of the whole. What is huge now will not be so huge then.
And as for not winning the cup this year, of course we arent winning the cup this year. SO, you stick with what you have and add what you can in free agency instead of making all these ridiculous video game trade proposals you seem to love.
Ill tell you what, if one of the teams in your mind will JUMP in a second at any of your trade proposals, you can pretty much guess its a ridiculous trade. You do not seem to grasp that it takes two teams to make a deal. In your fantasy hockey world it seems you believe that the other team in the deal is irrelevant and they will just say ok! Like offering 100 mill contracts and nmc to fa yep let's go that route cause that worked. And again teams are signing their players not letting them get to fa. Kimmo was best dman and we resigned him so now what? Guess we can stand pat for a couple years. Yeah no thanks. And don't say draft. You know how that goes
Every single trade you have proposed would either be laughed at my the other team, or be severely over paying from our end. I guess which depends on what ridiculous trade you have put forth.
Now is the time to stand firm. And shore up weaknesses in the off season when calmer heads are prevailing. - MBFlyerfan

When you bring that into consideration, they made out like bandits. I liked the trade for Pittsburgh, long-term. It was either that or let him walk after this year which is when they would've gotten squat. |

I do it because we're allowed to but not allowed to use Internet at work while not on lunch except for work purposes. They watch over us too. However, I know how to use punctuation, spelling, & capitalization properly.
But hey, as long as the owners' old dog can crap and pee on the rug all winter and get free kennel services from people paid to do office work, I guess I can't complain. - Flyskippy

Exactly. It just adds a bit of anger to the rivalry. If it had been a player from, say Phx, we wouldnt even think about it anymore. Just so happens that a good player on our biggest rival was the guy who threw the combo of dirty hits, and then cowered when it was time to man up. - jak521
If it was a player from Phoenix he would have got a lot more than one game for throwing two dirty head shots on one shift after his team had already been blown out. |

Could've added "that's not saying much" to my post but felt it unnecessary. |

Yes because a legit shutdown 3rd line center with some offensive ability, a 21 year old solid defensive prospect and the 8th overall pick in the draft is squat. - NickTheKid87
Last I checked Pitt wins cups. So yeah again do you think we win a cup with this team. If so fine I'll shut up. Then we go with your plan. |

Yeah, the Pens traded their 3rd line center for a less skilled 3rd line center, a potential top 4 defenseman, and a top 10 draft pick. You take away the names, and Shero sounds like he should be in jail. |

Really??? I said trade a core piece coots as long as you get a core piece that's needed on this team (puck moving pp dman ) that's young even if we have to overpay a little. In Picks or low level prospects. So I'm nuts how??? Dmen more important than centers. Your going to pay a little more. Would you rather of had Brian leech Or John madden. No brainner. Just an example - SMS4016
Equating Sean Couturier's potential to John Madden is nuts. |

I think a perfect example of this is when the Penguins traded Alex Goligoski to Dallas...Goligoski is a nice player but not worth Neal and Niskinen - nonpoint22
Exactly pit moved him cause they have letang. We can move schenn or coots cause were so heavy at center. |
