Yeah, but that was a clown show...5 on 3 for almost 5 minutes...the skaters had hi back.
Now, I shall have to go to the hospital - Jsaquella
i think i hurt myself. seriously. unbelievable they survived that 5 on 3 with only 1 goal. i was imagining 6-5 regulation loss. i got a horrible feeling during the double minor beforehand...just squandering it...could see it coming back to bite them a mile away. |

Hey CPF.
I'll tell you what though- Bryz made some huge saves on that 12 minute 5-3, along with the sequence in the Flyers' zone right before the GWG by Czech. I don't know who he stoned, but it was huge- point blank on a one timer in the slot.
What a game. Wow. - Giroux_Is_God

If you mean Marc Andre Fleury, the guy who is 2-1 in playoff series against you and has a Stanley Cup Ring?
Yes.

Yep, still need that young, inexperienced goalie to grow old with our young core because we have too many centers and Laughton and we don't draft well and cap hits and if homer would just call the other GMs they'ed take our offer plus draft picks and the Kings did it and we need a number 1 d-man puck mover but only a young one and so we trade everyone.

Pretty sure MAB still has PTSD from last year's playoffs, which is why he sat out tonight. - feelingkettle
Yeah, but he was great in the first game of the year in Philly. Last year was last year. |

I'm spent. Literally....sweating, throat is dry, head is throbbing, just want to slowly drink a cold beer.
And the game was exciting, too |

All I can say is wow! Love the effort, but the Flyers did everything they could to give that game away. - MJL
they sure did, but the Penguins did some stupid poop earlier. |

The goalies were not good to say the least in this one. Nice win. That was a rollercoaster. - canadianpenfan
they both made some very good stops. vokoun was twice victimized by his own teammates' sticks. last one was not good to say the least. bryz was leaky on 2 goals and he reached with the paddle on the wraparound instead of staying tight. crazy. |

Leighton could've pitched a shutout against his own team early this season. Their balls have descended at the right time. |

Well, for those who had Knuble on the over with 1.5 stick infractions you would have won big money. |

Yup. Your point still stands.
I wanted these guys to win for Bryz. He might not have been stellar tonight, but if it wasn't for him and some huge saves, they would have lost.
Just nice to see some players bail Bryz out for once, ya know? |

All he had to be was decent tonite for you guys, but couldn't hold up his end. That had to be real tough to swallow after coming back like you did. - 77rams
His first bad game of the year, but certainly bad timing. He hasn't played much the past couple weeks and the rust definitely showed. Your guys earned the win though, but the Pens deserved at least a point. Oh well tomorrow is another day. |

Tie (frank)ing bungie cords to his stick and pants late in the game. I'm done with this poop from him. |
