Voracek is sure putting his claim to run shot gun with G on the top line for the rest of the season. Really confident with his line rushes making great decisions.

I hear what you're saying there. But there is no way a player should be able to walk right out in front of the net there. The Flyers have got to get better defensively. - MJL
it's an instant reaction. he's trying to prevent the shot. not killing him on it. g chased him out from behind and grossmann was too far away. bad play all around from them. the faceoff loss led directly to that goal. spent way too much time in their own end. killing 187 minutes of a 5 on 3 will do that to you.

My how things have changed for the young players on the Flyers in the last few weeks. Moral is there is a difference between not being a good player, and not playing well. I had some second thoughts concerning Voracek earlier in the year. That's changed. Same thing with Schenn. Read many times posts stating that they don't see anything in B Schenn.

eh that hit was nothing - Don'tForgetTocchet
it looked worse than it was. it was shove from his elbow. it wasn't a 2-handed crosscheck. pens were very light on their feet facing the boards tonight.

i thought the z penalty was bullpoop but whatever it evened out later
just about the wildest effing game i've ever seen...no defense.
wanted 6 points on this road swing and we got them
bryz made some nice saves, but looked shaky as hell. thank heavens for simmer and jake. couts looked like his old self for the most part. - isaiah520
I think there were a couple goals he would like to have back. But other then that, he was great and didn't look shaky at all. It could've been 5-2 Pens in the first, if it wasn't for him.. And he made a spectacular save on Kunitz towards the end of the 3rd to preserve the lead.
