it looked worse than it was. it was shove from his elbow. it wasn't a 2-handed crosscheck. pens were very light on their feet facing the boards tonight. - hammarby31
Not sure, but I think you're talking about the penalty Neal drew, right? Because he was pushed at waist level but the physics of a waist-shove would not make one lean chest and head first into the wall. Lame. |

Nothing like a little Malkin to bring out the best in Cooter. - Number23

I think there were a couple goals he would like to have back. But other then that, he was great and didn't look shaky at all. It could've been 5-2 Pens in the first, if it wasn't for him.. And he made a spectacular save on Kunitz towards the end of the 3rd to preserve the lead. - MJL
He can't save soccer goals, but thankfully that didn't count.

Voracek is sure putting his claim to run shot gun with G on the top line for the rest of the season. Really confident with his line rushes making great decisions. - ravishingone
Posted this on Twitter earlier today and will update it here. If you take Voracek's last 44 games in a Flyers uniform -- final 14 games of 2011-12 regular season, the team's 11-game playoff run and the first 18 games of 2013 -- he has compiled 43 points (15 goals, 28 assists).

Breakout year for Jake Voracek? To put it in perspective, if this was an 82 game Season. He's on pace for 27 goals and 54 assists for 81 pts. |

I was wrong in my contextual guess and didn't know where hammar was quoting from (wasn't going to try to find the post he quoted only to arrive back "here" 30 minutes later). |

And Cooter to bring out the worst in Malkin.
Malkin went at him in front of the net and Couts started skating to the box with that toothless grin....

i know the pens were buzzing at times, but bryz was too busy like he was last yr. it's really the 1st time i've seen him lose form all season. |

Yeah i saw that tonight a couple of times, he's a horse and when he's right it's incredibly hard to take the puck away from him, he's also fast as hell |

Other then the Kennedy goal, which got between his arm, and the late wrap around goal. I thought he was really good. I didn't see anything like what he looked like at times last year.

he made some great stops. i hate seeing pucks squeeze between the arm and body. 2 of those tonight. speaking of which, how is that the fruit bat scores on them every (frank)ing time? it's ridiculous. |
