Meh, I expect them to have a new coach by the time they become true contenders. They just need a good teacher type of coach right now. I'm not too familiar with Krueger so I can't really comment. I highly doubt we'll see many teams as good as the Chicago team that won the cup in the salary cap era. That team was just stacked top to bottom and had the perfect balance of talent, skill, leadership, depth , size, speed and grit.

I think if Lindy Ruff is fired from Buffalo, any team that picks him up will be extremely fortunate. One of the best coaches in the game, IMO. Unfortunately his team seems to have tuned him out.

True enough. Hansen hit Hossa unintentioanally in the head and people are screaming for a suspension yet Bollig intentionally punches Weise in the head and no one says nothing.

I'm not sure I'd call it an ass whooping, but Weise did well. He looks like he has been working on his fighting.

Haven't followed Buffalo at all over the years, but any coach that's been around as long as he has must be doing something right. I agree that it looks like Buffalo has some locker room problems, Ryan Miller's comments aren't helping. Their defence has apparently been horrible.

Honest opinion. Do you think Hansen hit Hossa hard enough to cause a problem or do you think it has mostly to do with the previous hit from Torres?

If that was Sharp hit instead do you think he would be sprawled out on the ice and missing the rest of the game?
