I think a lot of it has to do with the age of the poster, the younger they are, the more likely to troll since they grew up in the internet age with the anonymity of it. Us older (30+) tend to be less of trolls because we came before Facebook/Twitter etc... heck, I still have my 9600 baud phone modem, BBS server and Apple IIC that I ran it on.

Well, I am pretty old. I still have an Intellivision.

Yeah, being a dink online seems to be a thing for some people. I don't get it, but it certainly is something they do.

Stop trolling.

You watching the AVs game? AVs play by play guy just called Matt duchene the fastest skater in the NHL.

...

You're sh1tting me!?!?

Duchene's a nice skater, but I think Grabner still holds that honour.

I'm starting to think the NHL suspended Hansen for one reason and one reason only... to minimize the likelihood of retaliation Bertuzzi/Moore style. Hossa is a star, and you have to wonder how a lack of league action might have increased the odds of vigilante justice during our next match-up with Chicago. Maybe this 1 game suspension is for the best although I maintain that it was not deserved.

Atari 2600... still have most of the games too... although I don't have a TV that can play it anymore and not spending the $100+ to buy the adapter so that I can on my big screen TV

Deserved, no, more to send a message to others to be in control of your arms at all times... or else that touching someone with a history of concussions anywhere near their head is a big nono, even if it's incidental/accidental/unintentional/inadvertent.

Need a D-man in my pool, BAD!

Think Niskanen is worth the pick up? I'd be dropping Nyquist.

Remember that awesome trade, Grabner + Bernier + 1st for Ballard?

Good times

Meh. Grabner went to waivers after the trade and Bernier is terrible. It was a great trade for NYI. Basically, Vancouver had to deal one of Raymond or Grabner and this year at least Raymond is cheaper and more productive. Ballard is playing pretty well, too.

Grabner would never of done well in Vancouver. The depth on the team was too steep. He needed a place where he could get solid quality ice time.

Probably not... Although the 30 goal scorer in question is disgruntled, being shopped, and is apparently a headcase.

I just hope all of the racists we have here are not too hard on him. Oh wait, Vancouver does not discriminate, we are hard on everyone equally, unless you are a goalie, then you are screwed.

I would like to see Kane in Vancouver, I just don't think what we would have to give up would justify it.

At the time I wanted to keep Grabner, was cheaper than Raymond, and I thought would have put up similar numbers. When they had played him on the 2nd line he was doing okay, then he went down with an injury. Grabner has always been a slow starter, having horrible training camps every year. I agree with other post that too much depth up front at the time for him to be given a fair shot.

I think you will see Schneider, and Booth or Jensen, and maybe a 1 st

Schneider Jensen and a 1 st for Kane and Montoya

I have a feeling Canucks will take a run at him. Wpg needs changes . Kane doesn't sound like he likes it there. Kane is from Vancouver and he likes it here.

I would consider Schneider for Kane straight up. Booth would be a nice throw in for cap space, not sure who they would throw in to even it out. I would even do Schneider and Booth for Kane and a 1 st.
I am starting to have my doubts any of our goalies will get moved this year, and I am worried about other teams trading some of their goalies before we do leaving a shytty market left for us (LA Bernier, STL Elliot, maybe OTT Anderson). We could get burned by holding onto Luo too long, but I am hoping with firing of Ruff and Howson other teams will make changes soon and try and address holes in their rosters. (NYI, WSH, WPG, FLA depending on how Markstrom does).

Change Jensen to Booth for cap reasons, change the 1st to 2nd or 3rd, and I would do it. Could even make the draft pick conditional for 2014 depending on if they make playoffs or not.
I think the reason WPG made Kane's contract the same amount for every year is so they did not have to pay more in the first couple years, trade him, and have the other team get to pay him less in his last couple years.
