I like the Rolston promotion because he's really great at developing young guys. It should be interesting to see if Grigs gets any better. I think it's beneficial to Foligno as well. It might help Brennan get more regular time over some of the "favorites" as well.

I think Terry P has been behind in his decissions about coaching since day 1. IMO He should of been interviewing replacements since last season.

We need to move out the crap we got, try and turn things around and then worry about UFA's. That will not be easy to do.

not everybody, that's nuts. peca for connolly pyatt is basically the framework for a vanek trade but with better players and maybe a draft pick, hell no, just get rid of the crappy parts and keep the rest. if they do this right, we could turn around much faster. i'd be a little worried if i was darcy because you can usually only change the coach once before they figure out the GM is inept. i guess we'll see how this new thing goes...

Yeah, I read that whole thing. That was like play fight compared to some of the stuff I went through when I first came here

there is a difference between open checkbook and spending wisely and making sure you can put a team together that would compete at a high level and contend, and not have all your eggs in one basket with a few high priced players unless they are like crosby+malkin

baltimore, tampa, washington (i believe) all were competitive last season without massive payrolls

preds, yotes are also quickly come to mind in the NHL

having money to spend is good and helpful IF it is done right, and you can get players signed at reasonable prices
