Ah, so the 'dumber' of the dumb and dumber pair takes the exit. Dumb will go but it will take a bit. Next to go? Try Hecht. And if we're lucky and DR grows a couple, we'll see weak sister Jason tossed out west and in return find a grittier replacement. This team will indeed play better regardless as Lindy was lost, and only had the ear of a couple guys. In a matter of months today's doubters will have reformed.....big things. - buzzylite

Let's criticize the guy that's been the most consistent.

Just shocked this finally happened, after all these years. Always liked Ruff, but understand the move. - systemtool
I really just got on board with the fact that his time was up recently myself. But it was painfully obvious. It should have never gotten to this point.
which one is being more successful at this time though?
if teams spend a bunch of money on players and dont perform then they are considered busts or overpaid, etc.......and people will use them as their excuse - dmarsden2988
the point is that nashville cannot afford to ice a high salary team and the fans dont care if they do. sure they are winning with less but this is a club that has no pressure to win. hey another losing in nashville...o well the NHL will bail them out of their gigantic debt. hey another winning season in nashville...o well the NHL will bail them out of their gigantic debt. having a good team is gonna be innevitable when expectations are low. it wont fly in hockey towns.

Yes, he is probably the most consistent in terms of scoring, but the team's overall personality is a direct reflection of him, soft and not willing to battle hard enough.
