Everyone didn't understand what he meant with that quote. At the time there was speculation that Ruff would be on his way out, and with new ownership, people suspected Terry would want to get his own coach. What he meant was, he is not getting fired simply because I am becoming owner, I HIGHLY doubt he meant that he would keep ruff till the day he dies or retires, use your head people

I'd honestly be scared of hiring him, sure he's a big name but he's got some temper issues and honestly if he wasn't Patrick Roy would you hire him based on his resume over other candidates? He has zero NHL coaching experience even as an assistant, correct me if I'm wrong though.

Yes. A guy on the radio here said it best. Lindy is a great guy, good coach, but his time here was past due. Glad to be able to be a Lindy Ruff fan again.

I think he will be successful somewhere else in the league. I wish him all the best.

Lindy is a great coach , Just not a great coach in Buffalo anymore . Fresh start and Fresh faces will see him successful again.
