Late to the party....but I could see him in Detroit as an assistant with Babcock in short term. Babcock brought him on as an assistant coach for the Olympics. - twistedwrister9
Good fit and less pressure for a while. |

Intresting if it happens.I dont see our Blue Jackets going anywhere anytime soon.Ohio was better off when they followed the Wings. - buffalo 1
Ruff is the perfect fit for Columbus IMO.
Think Hitchcock going to St Louis last year. |

I vaguely remember Ted Nolan but it really is a blur. I remember the move from the aud to Marine Midland. But I "watched" I didnt necessarily follow it at that age. |

I expect 4th line guys to put up 10-20 points, play an energy type role, hit everything that moves, be some what responsible in their own end, and drop the gloves when needed.
Scott fits one of those things. One dimensional players are a thing of the past and have no business being in the league. - dadeadhead
so the guy they waived

My dad bought me a box of 87-88 topps hockey cards and I was hooked on both hockey and card collecting.
I remember watching hockey night in Canada as early back as 83 and the Oiler machine. |

My uncle was the drummer in the goo goo dolls before they were big. True effing story!
He made some bad life choices and quit the band. EFFFFFF. |

Keith Jones just said the Sabres should have showed more class and kept Lindy until the end of the year, he said that the Eagles did it with Andy Reid and he didn't like the timing at all. Milbury looked like he couldn't say much. |

Pretty impressive with over a 1000 posts on this topic......Just shows the passion of Sabres nation....
This might not be the year but there is no reason why the front office isn't planning to be in contention next year with obvious subtractions of Gerbe, Hecht, Leopold, Regehr and maybe more if we're lucky.... |

I was a card collector. Not so much anymore. They are worth crap now with all the mass production.
Hockey night in Canada is what we did on the weekends when i was in middle school and High school. Watchd the 7 and 1030 double header. Of course in high school girls would always "ruin" watching the hockey. |
