I liked to be able to sit down without wincing. My parents never worried about me. I was basically allowed to go where I wanted when I wanted by the time I was in high school because they trusted me. Never had a curfew or anything.

Had a teacher that used to smack the desk with a yard stick if we fell asleep. That was until he went to whack my desk with it and caught it. I snapped it over my knee and threw it out the window.
