They finally did it. 5 years too late.

Don't mean this to sound like a troll but I would say it is the lineup that is to blame.... the centers are almost laughable? The team also has no toughness.

Lindy has made it a career of getting more than he should out of teams that didn't boast the most high priced talent. I think the fans in Buffalo are just so used to that, that they expect it every year.

Centers laughable? Their number one center has 15 points in 17 games. Their number two center has 13 points in 17 games.

No toughness? Steve Ott is one of the league-leaders in hits. They have John Scott who's ready to throw down with anybody in the league.

Yeah that seems like the consensus here. I wouldn't mind him in Vancouver next year at all if the Canucks have another disappointing post-season, assuming he won't be hired by another team during this season.
