At least McCormick could actually skate too... I know he want the heavyweight Scott was, but I think Scott is pretty useless when he isn't fighting
And if he's only gonna fight once every 5 games then I would just rather have Simone in the line-up that can actually play

The problem with Cody is the salary Darcy gave him. Were he making 900K, he'd of been traded or still on the roster.

One of the bigger issues is them trying to force Grigs to play center. Playing center in the NHL is hard enough for a vet let alone an 18 yr old kid. I hope Rolston is able to play him on the wing where he belongs (for the time being) to get him going.

One of the bigger issues is them trying to force Grigs to play center. Playing center in the NHL is hard enough for a vet let alone an 18 yr old kid. I hope Rolston is able to play him on the wing where he belongs (for the time being) to get him going.

I'm leaning more towards him playing winger for a while. Even a year or 2. Most young players start on the wing at some point.

It doesn't really matter who plays this team is a train wreck, Pegulla should have stopped this madness when he bought the team, instead this mess is just getting worse. Bad contracts, crappy players, no direction it's a mess. It's going to take a while before this is fixed and removing Lindy is only the tip of the problem.

But I know i'm negative.

If u put him on the wing, say w Ennis & Foligno, that means we're still playing freaking Hecht 16+ min a night bc he'd have to be the 3rd line center

Play Grigo, play Myers 25 min a game, get McNabb here, give Foligno a ton of ice time. Find out if Adam will ever be an NHL'er. I don't want a run to 8th. Lets just see young players play the next 30 games

It is all about draft picks and prospects for Reiger heading into the trade deadline.
Leopold, Sekera and Regher could be gone and even Ehrhoff;
Stafford, Hecht, Pominville and even Vanek could be sent packing in the right deals.

Defense before the end of the season could include Weber, Brennan, Myers, Pysyk, McNab and Sulzer.

The more picks the better...then at the draft trade the picks for better players as teams need to create new cap space.
