Leopold, Sekera and Regher could be gone and even Ehrhoff;
Stafford, Hecht, Pominville and even Vanek could be sent packing in the right deals.

Defense before the end of the season could include Weber, Brennan, Myers, Pysyk, McNab and Sulzer.

The more picks the better...then at the draft trade the picks for better players as teams need to create new cap space.

I honestly think the only way he gets to the level he was in the playoffs 2 years ago is by overplaying him. Let him make mistakes but put him out there on every PK and PP you can, If he is your highest paid defenseman, he should be on the 1st unit on both. I have a feeling Rolston is going to get a lot out of him. Adam needs to be brought up and told that they are gonna showcase him and either trade him or find a place for him on the Sabres, tell him that if he doesn't work hard he will be buried in Roch until they choose not to resign him, see if he wakes up. He has some talent

I seriously hate that the idea for our defense to be like that at the end of the season. Why would we want to get rid of Ehrhoff when he's our best defenseman and is only a cap hit of $4 million? Plus from what I've heard Pysyk does not look close to NHL ready yet.

And trading all those players isn't going to do much if you can't get anything decent back in return.

I don't know.....you never know what ADAM can do if thrown in the right situation. Meyers needs to get back to skating. No more smasher defensive brick wall BS! He's offensive. Let him lose a little weight and skate! Coaches expectations vs. HIS game are completely wrong.

Coming in out of shape and not doing what the team asked him to do during the offseason makes it more of an 80/20 Myers fault. Danny Gare even came out and said he's out of shape and taking short shifts because of it. Was the team partially responsible? yes but Myers needs to take sole responsibility.

Yea, I just think the rest of this season should be about finding out who can play, where they should play and how they respond under a new coach. Play Grigo, play Myers 25 min a game, get McNabb here, give Foligno a ton of ice time. Find out if Adam will ever be an NHL'er. I don't want a run to 8th. Lets just see young players play the next 30 games

Why do people all of a sudden want to immediately tank the rest of the season? If Ruff was really the problem (which many believe) then wouldn't you want to see how this team can perform without him? The team is 4 points out a playoff spot.
