The only thing crazier than the naked HOFF pics and Ron Duguay in this thread is the Lundqvist/Bryz argument.
Some people would argue grass isn't green. - PLindbergh31
What if it's Kentucky Blue Grass?
There's CLEARLY some blue in there.
Therefore, by that logic, grass isn't ALWAYS green.
YOU'RE WRONG. |

His exact quote was "Hooray for league average" when in reference to a .915 SV%. He never said that Bryzgalov was average, he said that Bryzgalov's SV%, if at .915, would be a league average. He never said "Any goalie with a .915 SV% in an average goaltender." But yes, I'm sure you're right, and that he thinks Lundqvist is an average at best goaltender. Good work, you got him good! - jmatchett
Its not just plainly about a guys numbers.. this is a long standing opinion. |

honestly, that line of logic is akin to:
"if you like pizza so much then why dont you marry it!" |

Just a shame a 13 goal 2 game win streak produces a thread like this. God helps all if we win tonight. |

So, have we come to a conclusion on who we can and cannot call average? Or whether this is or is not a frivolous debate? We really need to get back on track with the Hoff pictures, folks. |

Nothing is actually a "colour." Colour is a perception of non reflected light in the spectrum in which our vision perceives. So if our colour spectrum was changed or we naturally saw in a different spectrum grass would be a different "colour" while not changing the true nature of the grass. For instance if you were colour blind you wouldn't perceive the grass as green but the grass would remain physically unchanged. |

You obviously aren't getting the point. The point wasn't trying to say that Lundqvist is an average Goalie. The point is that using SV% blindly to say that Brzgalov if he gets to that SV% for the Season, is an average Goalie. Isn't looking at the complete picture. And taking all the factors into account. With the Flyers team defense, a 915 SV% is pretty dam good. - MJL
an opinion is an opinion and if someone wants to say above average versus elite or sub standard versus sucking...who gives a rats ass...
it was simple post that you torched.
either way as a backup or not Bryz has a ring and the King doesn't... |

A win tonight will mean tomorrow is the debate over whether or not a three win streak inspires average levels of excitement. |

Its doesnt irk me at all. He is fully entitled to his opinions. Brads a good dude. I find it funny that he dislikes Bryz so much.
I almost feel as though B-rad is secretly wishing Bryz blows up. |
