You know... Its really kind of sad seeing my favourite player having age catch up to him.
Timonen has had a rough season. It was nice to always have that rock on defense, you expected to play well.

The guy needs to play center. He is useless on the wing, but I will admit it is concerning to see him basically put in no effort when the puck is along the boards. I dont remember more than 5 board battles he has won all season.
The bigger issue with me regarding Briere is he looks dirt slow. Even when he does get an open area, and seems a step behind.

I don't think that effort and intensity is the issue and why they're down in the game. The game as a whole lacks the same feel. The Flyers are just playing poor Hockey.
