Seems to be more a reflection of our fickle culture than anything else because I remember 2006-07 here and it wasn't the barfing of idiotic proposals (trade, managerial, or otherwise) that happens here now. And in the 90's when I forsook throwball, it was only one sport's fanbase that suckled from the teats of WIP.

Yeah Lombardo is definitely a strange cat. They said he was feuding with King again, and then came up with a bunch of new demands about seeing the books or some other nonsense, and then told them to Eff off after they said no.
