I can't play these conspiracy theory games. Garth Snow is the GM of this team. The team has been rancid since he's had the job. He has drafted in the top five for going on 6 years. This team has taken steps backwards in it's "rebuild". He has stated numerous times that he has free reign to do as he pleases. He has changed his stance numerous times. He has failed at signing FA's. He has tryed and failed, his sales pitch obviously isn't too good. He said this team would be competing for the Stanley Cup in five years. We won't even sniff the playoffs let alone "compete" in them. We don't have much to show for five years of drafting in the top five. He took the job. He says he has complete control. Milbury obviously had complete control why wouldn't Garf? Like I said I'm not saying he is in an ideal situation but the results are what they are. I'm not going to speculate that Wang controls him, why people do this is beyond me? It's like they try to find a reason to believe Garth is a good GM? Why? The guy has NO resume, he has done NOTHING to make me feel he is a good GM. Why are people trying to find a way to make him good? The guy has it made really. Wang will never fire him and some of you guys will never find fault in his ineptness. I don't get it?
