Ok Soad_live,
You are the typical habs fan with no class and I'm so tired of people like you. Your replies are not funny and bringing other fans from other teams down is so immature. You are the reason so many other team fans hate habs fan. And before you ridiculize struggling teams, perhaps you should remember last year season.
Oh and by the way, I am a habs fan if you are to dumb to realize it.
In an other topic, can anyone here tell me why the Isles struggle years after years. It just seem like it's been like that for ever. - Tripple_B9

I have to agree, that Goaltending and Defense is losing the games for us.
We allow the most GA in the Eastern conference. the first goal the other night was one Ott player with 4 isles players looking at him.
Nabby is great goalie but cant play every night, He can play 2-3 at best then needs his backup to play a game. DP is not the man to do it.
We sit here and complain how bad we are but reality we just not playing to win like we didn early in the year.
Amac is a good dman but he not a top 4 guy. plain and simple.
Scoring usually is any teams biggest problem, Not ours. We need to clean up a bit more on back end.
DP has lost us 6 possible points in 3 starts. Aside from Philly game, in no game have been completely blown out or outplayed.
That why Cappy is not the guy, Its not ok to be bad. You should be taken ullstrom that does more in 7-9 Mins of playing time in 4th line out of lineup.
KO should be benched for 2-3 games. Keith Aucoin hasnt done anything since game in Newark against the devils 3 weeks go.
So ok, you put reaoner back in. BENCH one of those two bozos. |

Its really frustrating and funny at the same time how this franchise is run..
Other teams go on losing streaks, They make changes.. Isles makeover is place grabner on the 3rd line and place okposo on the 1st or 2nd line..
Other teams struggle, They call up someone from the minors to mix things up.. Isles wait to see whos for grabs on waivers.
Isles lose 7-0 at home and then right after 3-1.. Team says no changes will come. While any other team would fire the damn crappy coach..
Other teams struggle for so many years they try and trade for someone to improve the team.. While Isles have snow and Wang go on a picking their noses with confusion contest..
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the refreshing part of being an Isles fan.. |

Mike Bossy, Pat Lafontaine, Bryan Trottier you would think a legacy would have started. Is this all because of bad management?
4 cups in a row... someone must remember what it takes to have a good team |

I'm really nervous tht JT is going to pull the "trade me card" this guy has so much talent and we surround him with garbage.... I bet he wants off this sinking ship - ECHockey20
The ship has already sunk. If anything things are looking up at this point with Bklyn on the horizon and the younger prospects developing. If he wanted out, he would have never signed a six year extension. That being said, if things don't get better in the next couple of years, I could see him leaving when his deal is up, but he has too much character to ask for a trade, provided the team does right by him. |

some blame ownership
some blame GM
some blame players
some blame all
some blame anything islanders related.
end of the day, i blame wang. despite what you will hear, no one knows what the limitations he puts on garth monetarily and the impact he has on decisions (READ: DP contract). at the this point the team isnt producing and wang isnt willing to spend; its a slow and steady rebuild where all we have is prospects and young players. it takes time and patience but i personally believe their time is coming. i think the excuses are starting to run out and they are going to end. the prospect pool was depleted when garth took over and now its a top 5 pool (not my words, experts have said that). like i said, a slow and steady process. i think next year is there time to big put a BIG dman or two, thru trade or free agency...i think the isles days of being a perennial loser are numbered....just not this year. |

This team needs to send DP down. When you have him on the bench there is NO shot of them pulling Nabby in an off game. That can not be the case. You need Poulin on the bench... now!
Snow is right to an extent.. the team is fine. We are losing games by getting out goalied. Could we use an upgrade in our Top pairing Defense... yes... but this team is far better on back line then we have been in a while...IMO. - niteislander
We weren't out goalied on Monday. Really not in any game outside of Buffalo, Carolina and Ottawa. The team gets out worked on a consistent basis. That's why they lose. In four of the seven games they lost, they were out worked. This team takes nights off. There are mental lapses each game. When they play hard, they can skate with most teams. When they don't, they don't have the talent to overcome a weak work ethic. |

Capuano says to get point production, you need help from the blue line. "I'd like to see them get involved a little more."
Id like for them to play a little more DEFENSE... but thats just me |

agreed... the day to day frustrations arent going away this season...he realizes the long term projects are bright. IF things dont turn around, hell be gone after this year is up (or the season before to get max value) but i dont anticipate that happening. |

Guys, I live in Nassau County and I am trying to find where the game is on Optimum so I can record it, but I cannot find it. It only gives the NHLCI channel, but that's blacked out for sure. Anybody know the channel? |
