I think the guys still support him. I don't think he is losing his team that way. But, everyone knows that these type of coaches come with an expiration date, because it is just too hard to mentally for guys to play for them over the course of years. I don't think that is happening yet, but this team seems tight as a drum to me. - Pete V
It is tough to let loose knowing one mistake and your parked on the bench. Not saying get rid of Torts, but let them have some freedom and creativity in the offensive zone. This dump and chase doesn't work if there is no consistent forcheck. |

I have had it with Richards and Gaborik. Honestly Richards looks like he should be put in an assisted living home he looks so old. Gaborik doesn't look to have that explosiveness anymore or anything close that resembles the shot he had last season. Just calling it out how I see it. - adwolf130
I agree on Richards, he has been god awful, no debate.
I think Gabby has been in and out of games, still making some good plays every game, with a big game every once in a while. He needs to be better but its not Richards territory |

The coach loses the team when they don't believe in him anymore, focus on his faults and shortcomings, etc.
Similarly, this team has lost its fans. - Rags2Riches
In addition to get drunk and laid, I also think this team needs an A-hole on the team. Too many nice low key guys, the types that Torts likes. They need someone to breath some life into their dead asses. |

You know what this team needs, they need to go out and get drunk and laid and loosen the frank up a little. That's just my technical opinion. - Pete V
In other words they need to give Lindy Ruff a call - you KNOW that's what he's been up to since yesterday... |

I thought Richards was supposed to be some amazing playmaker? Can't remember the last time he made a great pass that led to a goal. Don't even say that little flick he gave Nash on Gaborik's goal against Boston. |

Torts may need to have a bit of a Tom Coughlin experience and loosen the reigns a little. I wonder if these guys are having fun coming to the rink these days. |

No, no one will stop rooting for this over this. Hell, I watched the Isles win 4 straight cups and I'm still here. |

19 years of losing hokey, they are lucky they still have a fan base because thy certainly don't deserve it, I hope they get booed off the ice next home game - cranford93
I guess the other 19 franchises that haven't won a cup since 1994 are also lucky? |

Idk if this has been discussed, but I'm furtrated now. Idk about any of you guys, but it's hard for to see this team doing anything notable to build of of last year. I just don't see it and it's make a little sad/annoyed/frustrated. |

A team with 7 fuking rookies is 4 points ahead of us, where is there any positive signs, they fuking blow! - cranford93
I'm starting to become very concerned. We haven't had many quality chances without nash in the lineup. Richards play has really declined. He is very slow and seems to be three steps behind the play. Lots of bad passes and turnovers. Also, can the guy even just lose a faceoff without being beat cleanly? I have been a Richard supporter, but my patience is wearing thin. Gaby hasn't been good enough either. Need them to step up if we have any chance of making a run. Hopefully DZ is fine or we will be very thin on the blueline.
Special teams killed us once again tonight |

Richard sucks this season. No way around it. No way to argue against what you are saying. |

Remember safe is death? What a bunch of horsecrap! And you have to wonder a little why almost every player to recently join the Rangers, with the exception of Gaborik, have lost their offense under Torts. |

Its hard to see a contender in the team after a game like this.
I just know they have it in them. Keep the faith. |

Ah I get you. I even agree with you. I'm trying. What's even more frustrating is that I know this team has the character and the talent to get it done. Just make the playoffs. Until then, this is torture. |
