Exactly.
The trade deadline will be much busier now with this new creative way to avoid cap problems.
GM's have no excuse now. Many creative ways to make deals and make them work for both teams.

He is the definition of a euro have you watched him play? Ive seen every game of his from the past two world juniors and he takes off more shifts than not, esp in the defensive zone. Kid has a cannon of a shot but that laziness wont fly early on. Needs to start in Roch first.

Yeah I agree though it's surprising because he's Finnish, they are usually hard working players. Reminds me a lot of Semin.

This isn't exactly the most ideal situation to plug him into. Plus it seems like every time we draft a guy with a lot of upside, people want to rush them into the NHL. Look at organizations who are good at cultivating homegrown talent, like Detroit. Patience pays off.
