The Sabres are playing like a bunch of entitled, over-paid athletes, not willing to pay the proverbial price on the ice. Unfortunately I could say the same about players on every team in the NHL. Even more unfortunately, Buffalo has more of these lazy complacent players then most other teams in the league. This team has some bad habits that are correctable. It has some character issues that can only be addressed by trading them away or putting them on the waiver wire!

Case and point-LAst game Hecht is refuses to take a hit to make a play-even Rob Ray-a HOMER-pointed it out. That kind of stuff happens way to often and gets dismissed or over looked. Unless the new coach is actually gonna take a stand and sit/bench/trade the guilty repeat offenders, this team will continue to be the highest paid bunch of losers the NHL has to offer!

One more thing. Tyler Myers is out of shape. He needs to be demoted to 15-17 minutes a game until he gets his legs going. They put all this pressure on him to bulk up and it is hurting his endurance/skating. He has put on almost 25 pounds since his rookie year. Eventually his endurance and energy will catch up. Until it does-no PP- no pk....Get in shape!!

Hecht definitely does not want to take a hit but I don't he does it because he doesn't want to "pay the price." The guy had 3 concussions within a 12 month span not too long ago. Pretty sure if you had 3 brain injuries in a year's time you'd be more cautious when on the ice.
