I liked Naslund. It's too bad he never won a cup. Classy guy. He had a mean wrist shot in his prime. I remember him as one of the few rangers who worked hard during the Drury/Gomez years.
edit: Jagr was not on the team anymore that season right? |

nope, that was the year we had zheredev, kalinin redden, kotalik and naslund we picked up antrapov and morris at the deadline and claimed avery off waivers. lost in 7 games vs the caps that year. i always was a big naslund fan. very classy and helped us by retiring. |

Remeber that week in the NHL when the Voros-Dubinsky-Zheredev line was the best in the league? They were all in the top 20 in points haha |

Voros looked like Adam Graves for a week or 2 to start that season, goals, fights, seemed like a steal of a move for us. Then, oh, you know the rest. |

If they somehow miss the playoffs he realistically should go but I don't think Slats would pull the trigger. |

Yea Torts has a huge imprint on this roster. It has got to be a least a non playoff season for the talk to start IMO, no way Sather would just pull the trigger if they lost in the playoffs |

Right now they just have to keep getting points, even in OT/SO losses. It sucks but points are points. Make it to the dance & you got a chance. |

I have a rare chance to watch a game in its entierty tonight. Kids & wifey are out on assignment & Im off from work, so I better see a peak performance but with this potential lineup.... |

This is not ideal indeed. But nice seeing some youth with Kreider, Miller, and Thomas all in. Rangers really need Richards to pull his head out of his arse. Gabby and Callahan must be huge to. Need the difference makers, to make a difference |

That is so true, its that simple. When teams are struggling, you need the money players to step up. That's why it would really have been nice to see Hank start & give us a vintage Hank performance. |

That is the key. Hank has the ability to carry this team. With Nash down, they really need him. To bad Hank isn't playing tonight though lol |
